Philip Morgan
Interim – Domestic Global Business Development
Philip joined the South Carolina Department of Commerce in 2012 as a project manager in the Global Business Development division, serving in that capacity until he moved into a leadership position in 2026. During his tenure as a project manager, he helped recruit more than 20,000 job opportunities for South Carolinians and facilitated over $12 billion in capital investment in communities across the state.
Philip is a graduate of Florida State University and the University of Alabama School of Law. He resides in Columbia with his wife and their two children.
