Philip Morgan
Interim – Domestic Global Business Development
Philip Morgan serves as the Interim – Domestic Global Business Development at the South Carolina Department of Commerce. In this role, he oversees the agency’s domestic recruitment efforts. Philip joined the agency in 2012 as a project manager, recently stepping into a leadership role within the division.
As a project manager, he was instrumental in the recruitment of over 20,000 job opportunities for South Carolinians and more than $12 billion in capital investment in communities statewide.
Philip is a graduate of Florida State University and the University of Alabama School of Law. He resides in Columbia with his wife and their two children.
