COLUMBIA, S.C. – Sasco Safety, a maker of highway safety products, today announced its new operations in Barnwell County. The $1.9 million investment is expected to generate 25 new jobs.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Britax Child Safety Inc.,  a manufacturer of premium car seats, strollers, baby carriers and accessories, today announced plans to build a new state-of-the-art U.S. headquarters and operations facility in York County. The company’s investment of more than $26 million is expected to bring 243 new jobs to the county.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Benefitfocus, a leading healthcare and benefits technology provider, was joined today by South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley and Charleston Mayor Joe Riley as the company unveiled a new Design and Engineering Building on its Daniel Island campus. The new 80,000-square-foot facility can accommodate 475 associates at capacity, adding to the company’s 68,000-square-foot corporate headquarters.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Department store retailer Belk Inc. today announced plans to locate a new eCommerce distribution and fulfillment center in Union County. The $4.5 million capital investment is expected to generate 124 new jobs over the next five years.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – BauschLinnemann North America, a producer of surfaces and edge bandings for furniture makers, today announced plans to establish a new facility and its North American headquarters in Horry County. The more than $8 million investment is expected to generate 55 jobs.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Avtec Inc., a communications technology company, today announced plans to expand to a new facility in Lexington County. The company will invest more than $6.1 million and is expected to generate 25 new jobs.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Advanced Inventory Solutions Inc., a provider of inventory auditing services, today announced that has located new operations in Dorchester County. The $250,000 investment is expected to generate 35 new jobs.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – A.I.D. Company, a business of RBC Bearings Inc. and a maker of aerospace components, today announced plans to locate its new facilities in Oconee County. The $7 million investment is expected to generate 75 new jobs over the next five years.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – NK Newlook, a manufacturer of store fixtures and retail interiors, today announced that it will locate a new manufacturing and distribution facility in Barnwell County. The $5 million investment is expected to generate 212 new jobs.
