Schaeffler continues expansion in York County

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Schaeffler Group USA Inc., a company that has thrived in South Carolina, continues to expand its operations in York County with an additional $36.5 million investment that will create 105 new jobs. Today’s announcement complements Schaeffler’s prior expansion projects in Spartanburg, Chesterfield and York Counties, all of which were announced in January 2015.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Ultrafab, Inc., an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) of weather seals, is expanding its existing operations in Greenville County. The expansion project is expected to bring more than $2 million in capital investment and lead to the creation of 34 new jobs.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – eviCore healthcare, an information technology healthcare company, is expanding its existing headquarters operations in Beaufort County. The expansion is projected to bring more than $1.6 million in new capital investment and create 35 new jobs.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Central Wire, Inc. (CWI), a stainless and specialty alloy wire manufacturer, is expanding its Lancaster County wire operation. The expansion is expected to bring $2 million in new capital investment and create 18 new jobs.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Harris Pillow Supply, a family-run pillow manufacturer based out of Beaufort County, is expanding its existing operations. The expansion is projected to bring $2.1 million in new capital investment and create 22 new positions over the next five years.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – OneMain Holdings, Inc., a leading consumer finance company, is expanding its existing operations in York County. The expansion is projected to bring $279,000 in new capital investment and create 175 new jobs.
