Bintelli LLC expands Charleston County operations
COLUMBIA, S.C. -- Bintelli LLC, an Inc. 5000 company and manufacturer and distributor of mopeds, scooters and electric vehicles for a variety of applications, has expanded its existing operations in Charleston County. The investment is expected to generate 23 new jobs over the next five years, 10 of which have recently been filled.
Ebtron expanding operations in Horry County
COLUMBIA, S.C. – Ebtron, a Loris, S.C.-based company that designs and manufactures air flow measuring devices, is expanding its operations in Horry County. The project is expected to bring more than $2.5 million of new capital investment and lead to the creation of 100 new jobs over the next five years.
Kiswire Inc. opening second facility in Newberry County
COLUMBIA, S.C. – January 10, 2013 – Kiswire Inc., a maker of steel cord for the tire industry, will expand its manufacturing operations in Newberry County. The first phase will involve a $15 million investment that is expected to generate 30 new jobs.
Prysmian Group North America expanding Abbeville County operations
COLUMBIA, S.C. – Prysmian Group North America, a worldwide leader in the production of electrical cables, is once again expanding its existing operations in Abbeville County. The expansion will result in an additional $1.9 million investment and the creation of five new positions.
Carolina Metal Castings expanding operations in Jasper County
COLUMBIA, S.C. – Carolina Metal Castings, a full-service provider of aftermarket metal castings, is expanding its manufacturing operations in Jasper County. The project will result in 13 new jobs and an investment of more than $3 million over the next five years.
Bondex, Inc. expanding Edgefield County manufacturing operations
COLUMBIA, S.C. – Bondex, Inc., a globally-recognized manufacturer of thermally-bonded nonwoven substrates, is expanding its manufacturing operations in Edgefield County. The project is expected to bring $11.5 million in new investment and lead to the creation of 17 new jobs.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – JR Automation Technologies, LLC, a global leader in custom automation solutions, is expanding its existing operations in Pickens County. The expansion will result in the creation of 56 new jobs and a capital investment of $3.4 million.
JEAR Logistics expanding Charleston County operations
COLUMBIA, SC – JEAR Logistics LLC, a third-party logistics company headquartered in Charleston County, is expanding its existing operations. The project is expected to result in $2.8 million investment and create 152 new jobs.
Blackbaud expanding Berkeley County operations
COLUMBIA, SC – Blackbaud, the leading provider of software and services for the global philanthropic community, is expanding its existing world headquarters operations in Berkeley County. The project is expected to create 300 new jobs over the next five years.
BASF Seneca expanding Oconee County facility
COLUMBIA, SC – BASF Corporation, a leading supplier of environmental and process catalysts, is expanding its operations in Oconee County. The expansion will result in $60 million in new capital investment.
Launched in 1987, BASF Seneca is a specialty chemical catalysts manufacturing and precious metals refining facility. The company’s refinery process produces solutions that are used to manufacture herbicides, plastics, pharmaceuticals, auto-emission catalysts and fertilizers.
