COLUMBIA, S.C. – A family-owned provider of metal fabrication services is expanding its South Carolina operations with the acquisition and development of a larger facility in Anderson County. Stanco Metal Products, Inc. is investing $5.9 million to relocate, creating an additional 10 local jobs in Anderson, S.C.Founded in 1917 in Michigan, Stanco, known then as Peerless Novelty Company, began as a non-automotive wire products provider. By 1950, the company had grown to support a total workforce of 85 employees.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – May 11, 2012 – Frontier Communications, a provider of telephone, television and internet services, today announced plans to expand its Horry County operations. The expansion is expected to generate 110 new jobs.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Call Experts, a leading answering service company, is expanding its existing operations in Charleston County. The company is investing $1.8 million in the project, which is expected to create 310 new jobs over the next five years.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Ushers Machine and Tool Co., Inc. is expanding its existing operations in Greenville County. The project will bring approximately $12.5 million in investment and create 50 new jobs in the Upstate.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Schaeffler Group USA Inc., a company that has thrived in South Carolina, continues to expand its operations in York County with an additional $36.5 million investment that will create 105 new jobs. Today’s announcement complements Schaeffler’s prior expansion projects in Spartanburg, Chesterfield and York Counties, all of which were announced in January 2015. 

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Central Packaging and Crating, Inc., a manufacturer of wooden heat-treated pallets, is expanding its operations in Greenwood County. The expansion will result in a new capital investment of almost $1 million.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Ultrafab, Inc., an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) of weather seals, is expanding its existing operations in Greenville County. The expansion project is expected to bring more than $2 million in capital investment and lead to the creation of 34 new jobs. 

COLUMBIA, S.C. – eviCore healthcare, an information technology healthcare company, is expanding its existing headquarters operations in Beaufort County. The expansion is projected to bring more than $1.6 million in new capital investment and create 35 new jobs.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Central Wire, Inc. (CWI), a stainless and specialty alloy wire manufacturer, is expanding its Lancaster County wire operation. The expansion is expected to bring $2 million in new capital investment and create 18 new jobs.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Martin Printing Co., a family-run print solutions company, is expanding its Upstate operations in Pickens County. This project is expected to bring $2 million in new capital investment and create 20 new jobs.
