COLUMBIA, S.C. – A company that supplies products to the bus, rail and air transportation industries is expanding its operations in Charleston County. Hubner Manufacturing Corporation is investing $8.6 million to expand its manufacturing facility in Mount Pleasant, S.C. The investment is expected to create 50 new jobs.
Mankiewicz Coatings, LLC expanding Berkeley County manufacturing facility
COLUMBIA, S.C. – Mankiewicz Coatings, LLC, a worldwide leader in the manufacturing of high-quality coating systems for the aviation, automotive and general industry markets is expanding its operations in Berkeley County. The company will be making a $15 million investment to facilitate the expansion, which could increase to as much as $20 million. The expansion is expected to generate 15 new jobs over five years.
Standard Textile Co., Inc. to expand Union County manufacturing facility
COLUMBIA, S.C. – Standard Textile, a leading global provider of end-to-end solutions for the institutional textile and apparel markets, is expanding its Union County manufacturing facility. The $5 million capital investment is expected to create 35 new jobs in Union, S.C.
Precision Southeast, Inc. expanding Marion County manufacturing facility
COLUMBIA, S.C. – Precision Southeast, Inc., a manufacturer of injection molded plastic parts, is expanding its operations in eastern South Carolina. Headquartered in Myrtle Beach, the company is investing $16.6 million to expand its Marion County manufacturing operations, creating an expected 140 new jobs there over the next five years. This expansion complements recent growth of the company’s existing Horry County operations, which represented $2 million in investment and 60 new jobs hired at that site.
Filtration Group expanding York County operation
COLUMBIA, S.C. – Filtration Group is expanding one of its two facilities in York County. The company is a global filtration leader in liquid/process, environmental air, fluid and biomedical solutions. This expansion, a capital investment of $1.5 million, will add an expected 11 total jobs to the company’s existing operations.
Kiswire, Inc. to commence second phase of Newberry County expansion
COLUMBIA, S.C. – Kiswire Inc., a manufacturer of steel cord and bead wire, is commencing the second phase of its Newberry County expansion. This phase, a $30 million investment, is expected to result in 45 new jobs in Newberry, S.C. The first phase of Kiswire Inc. Steel Cord Division, announced in January 2013, represented a $15 million investment and 30 new jobs, which came to fruition when production began at its new manufacturing site in December of last year.
SPF North America, Inc. expanding Greenwood County manufacturing facility
