COLUMBIA, S.C. - ChartSpan Medical Technologies, LLC, a healthcare data company that has developed the world's first automated tool allowing users to upload, store and manage their electronic healthcare records on a smartphone, tablet or computer, will establish its new headquarters in Greenville County. It plans to add 11 new positions immediately, and as many as 30 high-tech positions over the next 18 to 24 months. 

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Kirchner Konstruktionen GmbH (Kirchner), a German company that specializes in the planning, design, simulation and commissioning of equipment for the automotive sector, is establishing its first U.S. operations in Greenville County under the name Kirchner Design Inc. The company is investing more than $1 million in the project, creating 30 new jobs over the next five years.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – CH2M, a global, Fortune 500 consulting, design, construction and operations firm, is expanding its Upstate South Carolina operations with a new 70,000-square-foot facility in Greenville County. Amazon.com, Inc. (NASDAQ: AMZN) today announced plans to open a new fulfillment center in Spartanburg County, South Carolina. The facility will create hundreds of new full time jobs and involve a $50 million investment in the state.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – January 4, 2013 – Time Warner Cable, a provider of cable television and Internet services, today announced plans to expand its operations in Lexington County. The $24 million investment is expected to generate 644 new jobs over the next year.
