Kaman Engineering Services establishes new office in North Charleston

COLUMBIA, S.C. - Kaman Engineering Services, subsidiary of Kaman Aerospace Group, has opened a new office at the Clemson University Restoration Institute Campus (CURI) in North Charleston. The announcement came today at the 2014 HAI HELI-EXPO, a trade show being held in Anaheim, California. 

Based in Everett, Wash., Kaman Engineering Services' new regional office will support the growing aerospace demands in the Southeastern United States, according to Jim Larwood, president of Kaman Aerosystems. 

Kaman has been awarded a purchase order to utilize its extensive experience working with Boeing's 787 program structures team to support production of the 787 Dreamliner in the role of Stress Liaison. In addition to the CURI office, a team of Kaman employees will be co-located near Boeing's North Charleston production facility. 

Kaman Engineering Services was presented with Boeing Supplier of the Year award for its exceptional performance and contributions to Boeing's overall success during 2012. The company was one of 16 out of suppliers located in 50 countries to receive the award.
