COLUMBIA, S.C. – McLaughlin Body Company, a manufacturer of operator protection systems, will locate a new manufacturing facility in Anderson County. The $22 million investment is expected to generate 250 new jobs over the next five years.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Lindoerfer + Steiner GmbH, a maker of packaging for automotive suppliers, is establishing its new North American production facility in Spartanburg County. The $400,000 investment is expected to generate 32 new jobs over the next five years.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Lap Tech Industries, a manufacturer of precision components, will expand its existing operations in York County. The $4.5 million investment is expected to generate 60 new jobs.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Munich, Germany-based in-tech Automotive Engineering, which provides systems integration testing to global automotive manufacturers, will establish its inaugural North American facility at the Clemson University International Center for Automotive Research (CU-ICAR) in Greenville County. The undisclosed investment is expected to generate as many as 20 new jobs over three years.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – General Machine of Anderson will expand its metalworking and manufacturing operations in Anderson County. The $800,000 investment is expected to generate at least 20 new jobs.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Exel, a North American leader in supply chain management, is planning to establish a new distribution facility in York County. Exel is investing $38 million in a project that is expected to generate 133 new jobs.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Dayco Products LLC, a maker of automotive components, will expand its current operations in Barnwell County. The nearly $2 million investment is expected to generate at least 15 new jobs.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – The Crown Group, a provider of coating services to the automotive, heavy truck and agriculture industries, today announced that it has opened a new plant in Greenville County. The $5.4 million investment is expected to generate 42 new jobs over the next five years.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Coroplast Tape Corporation, a maker of adhesive and insulating tapes used in the auto industry, is planning to locate its first U.S. production plant in York County. The $12 million investment is expected to generate 150 new jobs.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Alupress AG, an aluminum casting company based in Italy, today announced that it will establish its new production facility in Laurens County. The $19.9 million investment is expected to generate 57 new jobs.
