COLUMBIA, S.C. – The South Carolina Department of Commerce today announced that Drive Automotive Industries of America will expand its existing facility in Greenville County. The $50 million investment is expected to generate 60 new jobs.

Streit USA Armoring LLC Announces Expansion in Charleston County
COLUMBIA, S.C. – Streit USA Armoring, a maker of armored vehicles, today announced plans to expand current operations in Charleston County. The $5.8 million investment is expected to generate more than 50 new jobs over the next three years.

The $10 million investment is expected to generate 100 new jobs.
BMW Announces Plant Expansion in Spartanburg County
COLUMBIA, S.C. – BMW today announced that the company will expand its plant in Spartanburg County. The $900 million investment is expected to generate 300 new jobs. BMW also commemorated a production milestone today – 2,000,000 vehicles since the company began U.S. production in 1994.
Kongsberg Automotive Announces Expansion in Pickens County
COLUMBIA, S.C. – Kongsberg Automotive, a maker of automotive components, today announced plans to expand its existing operation in Pickens County. The $7.3 million investment is expected to generate 300 new jobs.

Accuride expanding facility in Kershaw County
COLUMBIA, S.C. – Accuride Corporation (NYSE: ACW), a leading supplier of components to the commercial vehicle industry, today announced plans to expand aluminum wheel production capacity at its Kershaw County plant. The company will invest at least $8.73 million to add two machine lines as part of the expansion, which will generate at least 25 new jobs.
Gestamp South Carolina LLC Announces Expansion in Union County
COLUMBIA, S.C. – Gestamp South Carolina LLC, a producer of automotive components, today announced plans to expand its facility in Union County. The more than $51 million investment is expected to generate at least 100 new jobs.

The company expects to make a capital investment exceeding $14 million and to generate 130 new jobs over the next five years.
KION North America expanding operations in the Lowcountry
COLUMBIA, S.C. – KION North America, a member of KION Group AG, which is one of the world’s largest manufacturers of industrial trucks, will be expanding its Dorchester County operations. To accommodate increased customer demand, KION will be investing $5.7 million in its existing operations, creating more than 50 new jobs over the next five years.
