COLUMBIA, S.C. – United Phosphorus, Inc. (UPI), a manufacturing company specializing in chemical blending operations, plans to establish a new industrial operation in Williamsburg County. The company plans to invest more than $20 million in the project and create 65 new jobs over the next several years.
RMF adding second facility in Greenville County
COLUMBIA, S.C. – Roy Metal Finishing (RMF) is expanding its current operations by building a second facility in Greenville County's Matrix Business and Technology Park. Having added more than 100 jobs since its 2011 expansion, the new $16 million investment is expected to generate at least 40 new jobs over the next two years.
MAKROchem establishing Lancaster County operations
COLUMBIA, S.C. – MAKROchem, a leading carbon black supplier for the rubber and tire industries, is establishing its first U.S. operations with a new facility in Lancaster County. The company is planning to invest $7.5 million in the project, creating 20 new jobs.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Jiangnan Mold Plastic Technology Corporation is establishing operations in Spartanburg County. The company is investing $45 million in the project, which is expected to create 150 new jobs over the next five years.
Precision Southeast, Inc. expanding Marion County manufacturing facility
COLUMBIA, S.C. – Precision Southeast, Inc., a manufacturer of injection molded plastic parts, is expanding its operations in eastern South Carolina. Headquartered in Myrtle Beach, the company is investing $16.6 million to expand its Marion County manufacturing operations, creating an expected 140 new jobs there over the next five years. This expansion complements recent growth of the company’s existing Horry County operations, which represented $2 million in investment and 60 new jobs hired at that site.
Filtration Group expanding York County operation
COLUMBIA, S.C. – Filtration Group is expanding one of its two facilities in York County. The company is a global filtration leader in liquid/process, environmental air, fluid and biomedical solutions. This expansion, a capital investment of $1.5 million, will add an expected 11 total jobs to the company’s existing operations.
FoxFarm Soil and Fertilizer Company establishing Anderson County manufacturing facility
COLUMBIA, S.C. – A family business that specializes in the manufacturing of garden products, premium potting soils and both natural and organic dry and liquid fertilizers is establishing operations in Anderson County. FoxFarm Soil and Fertilizer Company is investing $6.9 million to locate in Pendleton S.C., creating an expected 27 new jobs.
Kiswire, Inc. to commence second phase of Newberry County expansion
COLUMBIA, S.C. – Kiswire Inc., a manufacturer of steel cord and bead wire, is commencing the second phase of its Newberry County expansion. This phase, a $30 million investment, is expected to result in 45 new jobs in Newberry, S.C. The first phase of Kiswire Inc. Steel Cord Division, announced in January 2013, represented a $15 million investment and 30 new jobs, which came to fruition when production began at its new manufacturing site in December of last year.
Zapp Precision Wire, Inc. expanding Dorchester County manufacturing facility
COLUMBIA, S.C. – Zapp Precision Wire, Inc., a manufacturer of stainless steel, nickel alloys and titanium wire is expanding its operations in Dorchester County. The company will be investing $30 million in the expansion, adding an expected 20 new jobs in Summerville, S.C. Founded in 1701 in Germany as a craft trade firm, the Zapp Group has committed more than three centuries to the steel industry.
Romarco Minerals, Inc. developing Lancaster County operations at Haile Gold Mine
