Guardian Industries Corp. Announces Expansion in Chester County

COLUMBIA, S.C. – March 16, 2011 – Gov. Nikki Haley, the South Carolina Department of Commerce and Chester County today announced that Guardian Industries Corp., a manufacturer of glass products, will expand its current operations in Chester County. The $45 million investment is expected to generate 50 new jobs.“We are pleased to be able to expand our operations in South Carolina. Nason Company expanding Oconee County operations

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Roy Metal Finishing (RMF) is expanding its current operations by building a second facility in Greenville County's Matrix Business and Technology Park. Having added more than 100 jobs since its 2011 expansion, the new $16 million investment is expected to generate at least 40 new jobs over the next two years.

Precision Southeast, Inc. expanding Marion County manufacturing facility

COLUMBIA, S.C.Precision Southeast, Inc., a manufacturer of injection molded plastic parts, is expanding its operations in eastern South Carolina. Headquartered in Myrtle Beach, the company is investing $16.6 million to expand its Marion County manufacturing operations, creating an expected 140 new jobs there over the next five years. This expansion complements recent growth of the company’s existing Horry County operations, which represented $2 million in investment and 60 new jobs hired at that site.

Filtration Group expanding York County operation

FoxFarm Soil and Fertilizer Company is investing $6.9 million to locate in Pendleton S.C., creating an expected 27 new jobs.
