COLUMBIA, S.C. – June 14, 2011 – Gov. Nikki Haley, the South Carolina Department of Commerce, Hampton County and the SouthernCarolina Regional Development Alliance today announced that Elliott Sawmilling Company Inc. will expand its current facility in Hampton County. COLUMBIA, S.C. – June 7, 2011 – Gov. Nikki Haley, the South Carolina Department of Commerce and Alliance Pickens today announced that VCI-SC Inc., a metal working firm, will establish its new facility in Pickens County. The $2 million investment is expected to generate 50 new jobs.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – April 28, 2011 – Gov. Nikki Haley, the South Carolina Department of Commerce, the Town of Jonesville and the Union County Development Board today announced that Textile Trends will establish its new production facility in Union County. The nearly $440,000 investment is expected to generate 100 new jobs.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – April 19, 2011 – Gov. Nikki Haley, the South Carolina Department of Commerce, the Laurens County Development Corporation and Laurens County today announced that Flame Spray S.p.A., an Italian international group and leading maker of thermal spray coatings, will establish its new production facility in Laurens County.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – April 8, 2011 – Gov. Nikki Haley, the South Carolina Department of Commerce and the Lowcountry Economic Alliance today announced that Be Green Packaging LLC, a manufacturer of “green” packaging, will locate its new manufacturing and distribution facility in Jasper County. The company plans to invest at least $7.3 million and expects to generate at least 175 new jobs over the next five years, with the potential of more jobs and investment added during that time.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – April 5, 2011 – Gov. Nikki Haley, the South Carolina Department of Commerce and Oconee County today announced that CollinsCraft Corporation, a fiberglass and composites manufacturer, will expand its operations in Oconee County.  Assuming market conditions continue to support growth, this multimillion-dollar investment is expected to generate about 20 new jobs over the next five years.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – March 29, 2011 – The Greenville Area Development Corporation and the South Carolina Department of Commerce today announced that Pharmaceutical Associates Inc. (PAI) will expand its Greenville County operations.  The $8.5 million investment is expected to generate 15 new jobs.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – March 16, 2011 – Gov. Nikki Haley, the South Carolina Department of Commerce and Chester County today announced that Guardian Industries Corp., a manufacturer of glass products, will expand its current operations in Chester County. The $45 million investment is expected to generate 50 new jobs.“We are pleased to be able to expand our operations in South Carolina. Chester County has provided us with an excellent business environment and strong workforce, and we are excited about increasing our presence here.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Nason Company, a manufacturer of electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic components, is expanding its operations in Oconee County. The expansion will result in $2.5 million of new capital investment and the creation of 26 new jobs.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Zero Connect, an assembler and distributor of fiber optic and copper cables, is establishing operations in Pickens County. The new development will create 72 new jobs and lead to an investment of more than $1.3 million.
