Development will bring $45 million investment and create 150 new jobs

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Jiangnan Mold Plastic Technology Corporation is establishing operations in Spartanburg County. The company is investing $45 million in the project, which is expected to create 150 new jobs over the next five years.

One of the largest suppliers of plastic mold parts in China’s automotive industry, Jiangnan Mold Plastic Technology Corporation specializes in the development, manufacturing and sales of plastic products and hi-tech molds. The company will manufacture a variety of parts and products for original equipment manufacturers and tier one suppliers in the automotive industry.

Strategically positioned to support South Carolina’s thriving automotive sector, the new plant will be located at 1000 Robinson Road in Greer, S.C.  Expected to be fully operational in the second half of 2017, hiring for the 260,000-square-foot facility will begin in the second half of 2017.
