S.C. Commerce, in partnership with the University of South Carolina’s Office of Economic Engagement, is launching the Procurement Technical Assistance Center of South Carolina (PTAC SC). To advance economic success, PTAC SC will provide S.C. businesses of all sizes the resources and services required to obtain contracts and subcontracts with the U.S. Department of Defense as well as federal, state and local governments.

News in Small Business: Small Business Administration reopens Paycheck Protection Program loans
The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) will reopen the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) loan portal to PPP-eligible lenders with $1 billion or less in assets for First and Second Draw applications on Friday, January 15 at 9 a.m. The portal will fully open on Tuesday, January 19 to all participating PPP lenders to submit First and Second Draw loan applications.
