COLUMBIA, S.C. – June 7, 2011 – Gov. Nikki Haley, the South Carolina Department of Commerce and Alliance Pickens today announced that VCI-SC Inc., a metal working firm, will establish its new facility in Pickens County. The $2 million investment is expected to generate 50 new jobs.

CertusBank to Locate Corporate Headquarters and Create 350 New Jobs in Greenville County

COLUMBIA, S.C. – May 25, 2011 – Gov. Nikki Haley, the South Carolina Department of Commerce, the City of Greenville and the Greenville Area Development Corporation today announced that CertusBank N.A., a nationally chartered bank that is a subsidiary of Blue Ridge Holdings Inc., will establish the company’s headquarters in Greenville and create 350 new jobs.

Southeast Renewable Energy Announces New Facility in Dorchester County

COLUMBIA, S.C. – May 5, 2011 – Gov. Nikki Haley, the South Carolina Department of Commerce and Dorchester County today announced that Southeast Renewable Energy will build its new renewable energy facility in Dorchester County. The $50 million investment is expected to generate 20 new jobs over the next five years.

Textile Trends LLC Announces New Operations in Union County

COLUMBIA, S.C. – April 28, 2011 – Gov. Be Green Packaging LLC Announces New Facility in Jasper County

COLUMBIA, S.C. – April 8, 2011 – Gov. Nikki Haley, the South Carolina Department of Commerce and the Lowcountry Economic Alliance today announced that Be Green Packaging LLC, a manufacturer of “green” packaging, will locate its new manufacturing and distribution facility in Jasper County. The company plans to invest at least $7.3 million and expects to generate at least 175 new jobs over the next five years, with the potential of more jobs and investment added during that time.
