COLUMBIA, S.C. – June 7, 2011 – Gov. Nikki Haley, the South Carolina Department of Commerce and Alliance Pickens today announced that VCI-SC Inc., a metal working firm, will establish its new facility in Pickens County. The $2 million investment is expected to generate 50 new jobs.

Nikki Haley, the South Carolina Department of Commerce, the City of Greenville and the Greenville Area Development Corporation today announced that CertusBank N.A., a nationally chartered bank that is a subsidiary of Blue Ridge Holdings Inc., will establish the company’s headquarters in Greenville and create 350 new jobs.

Nikki Haley, the South Carolina Department of Commerce and Dorchester County today announced that Southeast Renewable Energy will build its new renewable energy facility in Dorchester County. The $50 million investment is expected to generate 20 new jobs over the next five years.

The nearly $440,000 investment is expected to generate 100 new jobs.

Nikki Haley, the South Carolina Department of Commerce, the Laurens County Development Corporation and Laurens County today announced that Flame Spray S.p.A., an Italian international group and leading maker of thermal spray coatings, will establish its new production facility in Laurens County.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – April 8, 2011 – Gov. Nikki Haley, the South Carolina Department of Commerce and the Lowcountry Economic Alliance today announced that Be Green Packaging LLC, a manufacturer of “green” packaging, will locate its new manufacturing and distribution facility in Jasper County. The company plans to invest at least $7.3 million and expects to generate at least 175 new jobs over the next five years, with the potential of more jobs and investment added during that time.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – PA Solutions, a full-service automation controls engineering company, is constructing a new facility in Greenville County. The development will result in $65,000 in new capital investment and create 40 new jobs.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – era-contact USA, a global manufacturing leader of electrical railway couplings, is launching its North American manufacturing headquarters in Pickens County. The new development will bring $3.6 million in investment and lead to the creation of 45 new jobs.
