Recleim establishes first facility in Aiken County
COLUMBIA, S.C. – February 20, 2013 – Gov. Nikki Haley along with officials from Recleim, a start-up recycler of appliances and e-waste materials, today announced that the company will establish its first recycling plant in Aiken County. During the RecyclonomicsSC event today at the Statehouse, Recleim committed to a $40.6 million investment that is expected to generate 200 new jobs.
Jones-Hamilton chooses Chester County for new plant
COLUMBIA, S.C. – March 6, 2012 – Jones-Hamilton Co., an employee-owned manufacturer and marketer of specialty chemicals, announced plans today to build a plant in Chester County, South Carolina. The $29 million investment is expected to create 15 new jobs.
Dutchland Plastics Southeast launches operations in Greenville County
COLUMBIA, S.C. – February 28, 2012 – Dutchland Plastics Southeast LLC today announced that it has completed the acquisition of the Continental Southern Industries (CSI) of Greenville assets. This will be Dutchland’s first location in the Southeastern United States.
Dutchland expects to generate up to 25 new jobs over the next 12 months as the acquired operations are fully assimilated.

Highland Baking Company locating in Spartanburg County
COLUMBIA, S.C. – February 2, 2012 – Highland Baking Company, a wholesale bread baking company, today announced plans to locate its new production facility in Spartanburg County. The $9.48 million investment is expected to generate 196 new jobs over the next five years.

Amazon Announces New Facility in Spartanburg County, South Carolina
Amazon.com, Inc. (NASDAQ: AMZN) today announced plans to open a new fulfillment center in Spartanburg County, South Carolina. The facility will create hundreds of new full time jobs and involve a $50 million investment in the state.
