Enor Corp. to establish toy manufacturing plant in Fairfield County, create 151 jobs

COLUMBIA, S.C. - Governor Nikki Haley was joined today by executives from Enor Corp. and local officials at an economic development event to announce that Enor, a family-owned manufacturer of plastic toys, outdoor games and junior sports items, is establishing a new manufacturing facility in Fairfield County to supply U.S.-made toys to Walmart stores.

Coastal Logistics Group establishes Dorchester County operations

COLUMBIA, S.C. - Coastal Logistics Group (CLG), a third-party logistics (3PL) provider and warehouse operator, has established a new facility in Dorchester County to serve customers shipping through the Port of Charleston. The $1.2 million investment has already created 30 new jobs and is expected to create another 30 jobs in the coming months.

Recleim establishes first facility in Aiken County

COLUMBIA, S.C. – February 20, 2013 – Gov. Nikki Haley along with officials from Recleim, a start-up recycler of appliances and e-waste materials, today announced that the company will establish its first recycling plant in Aiken County. During the RecyclonomicsSC event today at the Statehouse, Recleim committed to a $40.6 million investment that is expected to generate 200 new jobs.

Jones-Hamilton chooses Chester County for new plant

COLUMBIA, S.C. – March 6, 2012 – Jones-Hamilton Co., an employee-owned manufacturer and marketer of specialty chemicals, announced plans today to build a plant in Chester County, South Carolina. The $29 million investment is expected to create 15 new jobs.

Dutchland Plastics Southeast launches operations in Greenville County

COLUMBIA, S.C. – February 28, 2012 – Dutchland Plastics Southeast LLC today announced that it has completed the acquisition of the Continental Southern Industries (CSI) of Greenville assets. This will be Dutchland’s first location in the Southeastern United States.                     

Dutchland expects to generate up to 25 new jobs over the next 12 months as the acquired operations are fully assimilated.

Southern Paint and Powder Coating Inc. locates in Chesterfield County

COLUMBIA, S.C. – February 21, 2012 – Southern Paint and Powder Coating Inc. (SPPC) today announced plans to locate its new facility in Chesterfield County. The $845,000 investment is expected to generate 13 new jobs.
