COLUMBIA, S.C. – Moderna Products, a Belgian company that specializes in the creation, production and distribution of well-designed plastics for the pet industry, is establishing its first U.S. manufacturing operations with a new injection molding facility in Cherokee County. The $6.5 million investment is expected to create 35 new jobs over the next five years.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Sea Pro Boats, a renowned brand in the boating industry, is returning to the market with ‘The Next Wave’ – an all new line of bay boats and center console offshore fishing boats. The company is investing $5.5 million in a new Newberry County manufacturing facility, generating 238 new jobs in Whitmire, S.C.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – US Building Innovations, Inc. (USBI), a company that specializes in the production of advanced coatings, is expanding its Upstate South Carolina operations with a new facility in Oconee County. The $1 million investment is expected to generate 31 new jobs in Seneca, S.C.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – MAIREC, a Germany-based metals recycler, is establishing operations in Spartanburg County. The $4.6 million investment is expected to create 35 new jobs in Spartanburg, S.C. over the next five years.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Dollar Tree, Inc. (NASDAQ: DLTR) is establishing new distribution operations in the Upstate Corporate Park located in both Cherokee and Spartanburg counties. The $104.4 million investment is expected to create 400 new jobs over the next five years.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Titan Stainless, a custom stainless equipment manufacturer, is establishing manufacturing operations in Chesterfield County. The $2.6 million investment is expected to create 50 new jobs in Pageland, S.C. over the next five years.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – MPW Industrial Services, a company that provides a variety of industrial cleaning, water purification, facility management and environmental management services, is building an industrial water regeneration plant in Georgetown County. The company’s $10 million investment is expected to result in 32 new jobs in Andrews, S.C

COLUMBIA, S.C. – GKN Aerospace announced today that it will open a new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility to produce inlet lip skins for the Boeing 737 MAX and 777X. The company is investing more than $20 million in the new facility, generating more than 75 new jobs in Orangeburg County.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Pantex International S.p.A., a hygiene materials producer primarily serving the global personal care market, is establishing its first U.S. operations – Pantex Americas, Inc. – in Greenville County. The $10.4 million investment is expected to create 45 new jobs in Simpsonville, S.C. over the next five years.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – December 22, 2011 – Climax Global Energy Inc. today announced plans to locate a new state-of-the-art plastics-to-oil recycling facility in Barnwell County. The $5 million investment is expected to generate 20 new jobs.
