Caristrap International locating corporate headquarters in Greenville County
COLUMBIA, S.C. – Caristrap International, a manufacturer of industrial strapping systems, is locating its new corporate headquarters in Greenville County. The project is expected to bring $5.5 million of new capital investment and lead to the creation of 100 new jobs.
Established in 1954, Caristrap offers a wide range of strapping, buckles, tensioners, dispensers and more, supporting a variety of applications. The company also produces a series of specialty products based on fiberglass cord, cotton and other sources.
Teijin Ltd. establishing manufacturing operations in Greenwood County
COLUMBIA, S.C. – Teijin Ltd., a Japanese chemical, pharmaceutical and information technology company, will be constructing a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Greenwood County. Creating 220 new jobs, the project is expected to bring $600 million in new capital investment to Greenwood County – the largest initial capital investment by a company in the county’s history.
LuLaRoe locating new distribution center in Richland County
COLUMBIA, S.C. – LuLaRoe, a national provider of women’s and men’s clothing, is locating a new distribution center in Richland County. The project is expected to bring approximately $35 million of new capital investment and create at least 1,000 new jobs over the next few years.
Founded in 2013 by DeAnne and Mark Stidham in Corona, California, LuLaRoe clothing is sold by more than 80,000 Independent Fashion Retailers throughout the United States.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – stoba, a manufacturer of machined components for the automobile industry, is launching a new production plant in Berkeley County. The new development is expected to bring $7.7 million in capital investment and create 61 new jobs.
Mid-States Packaging launching new operations in Charleston County
COLUMBIA, S.C. – Mid-States Packaging, Inc., a full-service logistics and warehousing provider, is locating new operations in Charleston County. The $5.2 million investment is expected to bring 30 new jobs to the community.
TIGGES launches new U.S. operations in Greenville County
COLUMBIA, S.C. – TIGGES USA LLC, a subsidiary of Wuppertal, Germany-based TIGGES GmbH, will establish its first North American facility at the Clemson University International Center for Automotive Research (CU-ICAR) in Greenville County. The $1.5 million investment is expected to generate at least five new jobs.
TaylorMade Golf Company expanding with new facility in Pickens County
COLUMBIA, S.C. – TaylorMade Golf Company will establish a new golf ball production facility in Pickens County. The company will invest $13 million in creating the new state-of-the-art facility.
“The opportunity to have a permanent home in Pickens County was too good of an opportunity for our company to pass up,” said John Kawaja, executive vice president at TaylorMade Golf. “We are getting a new building in a booming area that will improve our unit production, quality and margin position. Most important, we are committed to keeping jobs in South Carolina.”

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Swift Group of Industries, a maker of replacement refrigerator filters, will establish a new filter manufacturing facility in Clarendon County. With an initial $3.5 million investment, and further investment planned later, the company expects to generate 60 new jobs.
Sunny Z Foods Inc. establishing new facility in Saluda County
COLUMBIA, S.C. – Sunny Z Foods Inc., a producer of pre-packaged instant meals, will establish its new production facility in Saluda County. The $12 million investment is expected to generate 150 new jobs.
