COLUMBIA, S.C. – BLG Logistics, a global leader in third-party logistics services, today announced it is locating new operations in Charleston County. Designed to support Mercedes-Benz Vans’ production operations, the company’s new logistics facility is projected to create 28 jobs.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Southern Current, a leading developer in the residential, commercial and utility-scale solar markets, is expanding its solar farm portfolio with five new facilities throughout Anderson County. The company is investing $30 million in these projects.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Carolina Textile Care, LLC today announced plans to construct a new commercial laundry plant in Hampton County. The company’s $7.3 million investment is projected to create 50 new jobs.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Valagro, a producer of biostimulants and fertilizers for the agriculture industry, is launching its new production operations in Orangeburg County. The company’s $14 million investment is projected to create 47 new, high-skilled jobs.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Sunstrand, LLC today announced it is locating new biomaterial manufacturing operations in Florence County. The company is projected to bring $8.4 million of capital investment, leading to the creation of 42 new jobs.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – RoundPoint Mortgage Servicing Corporation, a mortgage-servicing company that delivers innovative solutions for managing residential mortgages, today announced that its new corporate headquarters will be located in York County. The company’s $34 million investment is projected to create 1,100 new jobs.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Kemper Corporation, a manufacturer of cargo securement products, today announced it is locating production operations in Union County. The project is expected to bring $1.9 million of capital investment and lead to the creation of 28 new jobs.

Established in 1977, Kemper Corporation is a leading producer and supplier of cargo straps and securement products for a variety of applications.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Lowcountry Aviation Company, a fully-integrated aviation service provider, is launching operations in Colleton County. The company’s $1.7 million investment is projected to create 36 new jobs.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – ACS Manufacturing, Inc. today announced plans to locate new manufacturing operations in Abbeville County. The company’s $6 million investment is projected to create more than 150 new jobs over the next five years.
