COLUMBIA, S.C. – Element Materials Technology (Element), a leader in materials and product qualification testing, today announced plans to open new operations in Anderson County. The company’s $3.4 million investment is projected to create 31 new jobs. 

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Longleaf Packaging, LLC today announced plans to establish a new manufacturing facility in Orangeburg County. The company’s $6 million investment is projected to create 28 new jobs in the community.

Longleaf Packaging will analyze and produce dry mix products for professional trade and retail end users. Manufacturing materials such as mortar mix, concrete mix and more, the company will also produce specialty items, including non-shrink grout and colored mortar mixes. 

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Green Tech Solution, Inc today announced plans to locate new recycling operations in Cherokee County. The company’s $75 million investment is projected to create approximately 200 new jobs.

Green Tech Solution, Inc will be establishing a new recycling operation to collect and process a variety of materials, including plastics, scrap metal, electronics and more. Green Tech Solution, Inc is a subsidiary of Tianjin Sheng Xin Non-Financing Guarantee Co., Ltd., an investment company headquartered in Tianjin, China.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – ShayoNano USA, Inc., an innovative developer of advanced materials, today announced plans to construct a new manufacturing facility in Chester County. The company’s $14.7 million capital investment is projected to bring approximately 40 new jobs to the community.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Southern Current, a leading developer in the residential, commercial and utility-scale solar markets, is expanding its solar farm portfolio with a new facility in Orangeburg County. The company is investing $28 million in this latest project, which will be known as Ulmer Solar, LLC.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Coronal Energy, a leading independent solar power and energy storage provider, today announced plans for the construction of a new solar project -- the Rankin Solar Center -- in Florence County. The new development is projected to bring approximately $15 million of capital investment.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Synergy Steel today announced plans to establish new operations in Lancaster County. The $2.8 million investment is projected to create 139 new positions.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Pacolet Milliken Enterprises is launching a new renewable energy operation, Midway Green Solar, LLC, in Union County. This project is expected to bring approximately $12 million of capital investment.

Pacolet Milliken Enterprises, Inc. is a private, family-owned investment company with a history that dates back to the 1860s. Located on property adjacent to Midway Green Industrial Park in Union, S.C., the company’s new solar project is expected to come online in the second quarter of 2019.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Ridgeland Pellet Company, LLC today announced plans to launch new manufacturing operations in Jasper County. The company’s $8.1 million investment is projected to create 27 new jobs over the next five years.
