COLUMBIA, S.C. – First Solar, Inc., (First Solar) a leading American photovoltaic (PV) solar and manufacturing company, today announced it is growing its South Carolina footprint with a new production facility in Cherokee County. The company expects to spend approximately $330 million to establish the new facility, which is forecast to create over 600 new jobs.  

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Kipp Group, an alliance of German companies, today announced it is establishing its U.S. headquarters in Laurens County. The company’s $12.2 million investment will create 19 new jobs.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – QMP, Inc. (QMP), a water filtration systems manufacturer, today announced it selects Colleton County to establish the company’s first East Coast manufacturing operation. The $5.1 million investment will create 233 new jobs.

Headquartered in California, QMP has more than 30 years of experience producing water filtration systems for a variety of applications, including for residential, commercial and industrial uses.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Maars North America (Maars), a global leader in architectural wall solutions, today announced it selects Charleston County to establish the company’s first U.S.-based production operation. The $3 million investment will create more than 10 new jobs.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Circular Composite Solutions (CCS), a sustainable manufacturer of proprietary industrial shipping pallet components, today announced it is establishing operations in Bamberg County. The company’s $53.7 million investment will create 70 new jobs upon completion of all phases.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Carolina Renewable Products (CRP), a clean energy company, today announced it is establishing operations in Orangeburg County. The company’s $280 million investment will create 155 new jobs.

CRP converts sustainable wood biomass into renewable diesel, biochar and wood vinegar. The company offers a modular and cost-effective design, delivering low-carbon fuel solutions while supporting local agriculture and forestry.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Tikvah Health and Wellness (Tikvah), a health engagement platform, today announced it is establishing operations in Charleston County. The company’s investment will create 13 new jobs over the next few years.

Tikvah’s platform allows self-insured employers to integrate natural and functional medicine into their healthcare plans. The company connects employees with vetted practitioners and provides technology-driven navigation tools that support healing.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Alita, an artificial intelligence (AI)-focused healthcare technology company, today announced it is establishing operations in Charleston County. The company’s investment will create 17 new jobs.

Alita is an AI-powered agent that automates admissions, intake, and hiring for post-acute and senior care providers, engaging families and job seekers 24/7 so staff can focus on people, rather than paperwork.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Riverstone Logistics, a supply chain and logistics company, today announced it is relocating its headquarters and establishing its first South Carolina operation in York County. The company’s $16.4 million investment will create 159 new jobs. 

Founded in 2017, Riverstone Logistics specializes in final-mile delivery, freight brokerage and tailored logistics solutions. The company’s services focus primarily on consumer electronics, building materials, appliance installations and more.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Woodward, Inc. (Woodward), a global leader in energy control solutions for aerospace and industrial markets, today announced it selects Spartanburg County to establish a new manufacturing operation in South Carolina. The nearly $200 million investment will create approximately 275 new jobs.
