COLUMBIA, S.C. – Hissho Sushi, one of the nation’s largest sushi distributors, today announced the relocation of its corporate headquarters and primary distribution operations to York County. With an investment of $5 million, the relocation will create 146 new jobs and mark the company’s first operational footprint in South Carolina.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Aerowerks, a manufacturer for the food service industry, today announced it selects Cherokee County to establish the company’s first U.S. operation. The company’s $10 million investment will create 52 new jobs.
With more than 40 years of experience, Aerowerks specializes in the manufacture of custom material handling systems, including return conveyers, tray accumulators and dish machines, for the food service industry. The company currently operates a production facility in Ontario, Canada.
Techo-Bloc selects Lexington County to establish first South Carolina operation
COLUMBIA, S.C. – Techo-Bloc, a landscaping products supplier, today announced it selects Lexington County to establish the company's first South Carolina operation. The $45 million investment will create 46 new jobs.
With factories in Illinois, Indiana and Pennsylvania, Techo-Bloc specializes in manufacturing high-quality hardscape products for residential and commercial outdoor spaces. The company has more than 850 employees and distributes products to over 900 stores across the United States and Canada.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – NorthMark Strategies (NorthMark), a multi-strategy investment firm, today announced it selects Spartanburg County to establish the company’s first South Carolina operation. Palmetto Plastics manufactures fill and drift eliminators for the cooling tower industry. The company’s products are vital plastic components for systems used in power plants, manufacturing facilities, universities and hospitals.

Komar Industries relocating and establishing first South Carolina operation in York County
COLUMBIA, S.C. – Komar Industries (Komar), a manufacturer of balers and compactors, today announced it is establishing its first South Carolina operation in York County. The $11.5 million investment will create 160 new jobs.
Komar specializes in the design and manufacture of balers, stationary compactors and self-contained compactors. The company is also a leading innovator of technology for the recycling and waste management industries.
