COLUMBIA, S.C. – Haddon House Food Products, the largest privately-owned distributor, importer and exporter of specialty, natural, organic, ethnic and kosher foods, is expanding its Chester County operations. The company is investing $4.6 million to expand its operations in Richburg, S.C. The investment is expected to create 55 new jobs.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Polydeck Screen Corporation, a leading provider of polyurethane and rubber screen media and specialty screening solutions, is expanding its operations in Spartanburg County. The company recently purchased a building and nearly 4 acres adjacent to its existing facility, increasing its manufacturing footprint to approximately 129,000-square-feet.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – A solutions based design and manufacturing company that delivers a diverse range of products is expanding its South Carolina operations with a new facility in Calhoun County. The Fitts Company, Inc. is investing $4.2 million to establish a new office and manufacturing facility in Gaston, S.C. The investment is expected to create 105 new jobs over five years.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – September 7, 2011 – The ZF Group, a supplier to the automotive industry, will expand its operations in Laurens County. The $80 million investment is expected to generate 300 new jobs.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – August 24, 2011 – Confluence Watersports, a leading manufacturer and marketer of kayaks, canoes and paddle sports accessories, today announced that the company will move to a new facility in Greenville County and expand its operations. The more than $13 million investment is expected to generate 72 new jobs over the next five years.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – August 17, 2011 – Griffin Thermal Products LLC, a maker of thermal transfer products for automotive and industrial sectors, will relocate its existing operations to a significantly larger facility in Piedmont in Greenville County. The multi-million dollar investment is expected to generate at least 50 new jobs, and possibly more, as the new facility becomes fully operational.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – August 16, 2011 – PolyQuest Inc., North America’s largest distributor of virgin and recycled polyethylene terephthalate (PET) resins, today announced the expansion of its Darlington County recycling and distribution facility. The expansion will involved a total estimated investment of $8 million and create approximately 20 new jobs.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – August 11, 2011 – Adams Scrap Recycling LLC, a metal recycler and major supplier to OmniSource Southeast, a subsidiary of Steel Dynamics Inc., will expand its operations in Greenville County. COLUMBIA, S.C. – June 22, 2011 – Gov. Nikki Haley, the South Carolina Department of Commerce and the Economic Futures Group of Spartanburg County today announced that Draexlmaier Automotive of America LLC, an affiliate of the Dräxlmaier Group, will expand its current facility in Spartanburg County. The $22.35 million investment is expected to generate 150 new jobs over the next five years.

Gov. Haley and Commerce Secretary Bobby Hitt today toured a Dräxlmaier Group Automotive facility in Germany.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – June 14, 2011 – Gov. Nikki Haley, the South Carolina Department of Commerce, Hampton County and the SouthernCarolina Regional Development Alliance today announced that Elliott Sawmilling Company Inc. will expand its current facility in Hampton County.
