Sportsman Boats Manufacturing to double size of Dorchester operations

COLUMBIA, S.C. - Sportsman Boats Manufacturing, a manufacturer of saltwater fishing boats, is more than doubling the size of its existing facility in Dorchester County. The $3.5 million investment is expected to create 150 new jobs. 

The 74,000-square-foot facility located on 113 Isaac Way in Summerville will be expanded by approximately 116,000 square feet to accommodate growing demand of the company's product line.

Martech Research expands operations in Lee County

COLUMBIA, S.C. – February 16, 2012 – Martech Research, a maker of synthetic and natural chemical products, today announced plans to expand its operations in Lee County. The $4.65 million investment is expected to generate 60 new jobs.

Ring Container Technologies expands operations in Chester County

COLUMBIA, S.C. – February 8, 2012 – Ring Container Technologies, a maker of plastic containers, today announced plans to expand its current operations in Chester County. The more than $7.89 million investment has generated 18 new jobs.
