McCall Farms expanding Florence County operations
COLUMBIA, S.C. – McCall Farms, the South Carolina-based manufacturers of Margaret Holmes, Glory Foods, Peanut Patch Boiled Peanuts and Bruce’s Yams, is expanding its existing Florence County operations with a new, state-of-the-art production facility. The $4 million investment is expected to generate 25 new jobs in Effingham, S.C. over the next five years.
Cott Beverages expanding Upstate operations
COLUMBIA, S.C. – Cott Beverages , U.S. subsidiary to Cott Corporation (NYSE:COT; TSX:BCB) , one of the world’s largest producers of beverages on behalf of retailers, brand owners and distributors, is expanding its existing Greenville County operations with the addition of a new warehouse and distribution center. The new facility represents a $10 million investment.
Oakwood Products, Inc. expanding Hampton County operations
COLUMBIA, S.C. – Oakwood Products, Inc., a manufacturer of chemicals used in the pharmaceutical industry, is expanding its existing operations in Hampton County. The company’s $1 million investment is expected to result in 30 new jobs at its Estill, S.C. facility.
Established in 1992 and headquartered in West Columbia, S.C., Oakwood Products produces a wide range of organics, with a particular emphasis on fluorine and sulfur compounds. The company also provides custom synthesis services.
Sun Solutions expanding Midlands operations
COLUMBIA, S.C. – Sun Solutions, a locally-owned company that specializes in the delivery of print and other media communications, is expanding its South Carolina operations with the construction of a new building in Lexington County. The company’s $10.5 million investment is expected to result in 50 new jobs.
Bimbo Bakeries USA expanding Orangeburg County manufacturing operations
COLUMBIA, S.C. –Bimbo Bakeries USA, a subsidiary of Mexico’s Grupo Bimbo – one of the world’s largest bakery firms, is expanding its manufacturing operations in Orangeburg County. This expansion is expected to create 30 new jobs in Orangeburg, S.C. over the next five years.
Bimbo Bakeries USA will remain in its existing facility, located at 272 Broughton Street in Orangeburg, but will renovate and install new equipment to expand its capability.
Republic National Distributing Company expanding Lexington County facility
COLUMBIA, S.C. – Republic National Distributing Company (RNDC), the fastest-growing distributor of premium wine and spirits in the United States, is expanding its South Carolina operations – Republic National Distributing Company of South Carolina – with the construction of an addition to its existing Lexington County facility. The company is investing more than $10 million and increasing its overall presence in South Carolina.

Fitesa expanding existing operations in Greenville County
COLUMBIA, S.C. – Fitesa Simpsonville, Inc., a global leader and innovator in the design and manufacture of nonwoven fabric solutions for the global hygiene market, will further expand its existing facility in Greenville County to increase production capacity. The $52,000,000 investment is expected to create an additional 38 jobs over the next five years.
