Ruiz Foods to expand existing Florence County manufacturing facility, creating more than 700 jobs
COLUMBIA, S.C. – Ruiz Food Products, Inc., a producer of frozen food and snack products, is expanding its existing Florence County operations. The $79 million investment is expected to create 705 new jobs over the next several years.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – T-Mobile US, one of the largest wireless service providers in the United States, is moving its existing customer care center in the Charleston area to a new, larger facility in North Charleston. The company is expected to invest more than $16.7 million in the new facility, creating 400 new jobs.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – James Hardie Building Products, Inc., a leading building materials company, is resuming operations at its idled manufacturing facility in Dorchester County. The company will be investing at least $15 million in renovation and improvements, creating 100 new jobs.
Protego expanding operations in Charleston County
COLUMBIA, S.C. – Protego, a global manufacturer of tank and flammable vapor processing safety equipment, is expanding its South Carolina presence by establishing a new facility in North Charleston, S.C. The new development is projected to bring $3.7 million of capital investment and lead to the creation of 17 jobs.
The Carlstar Group invests significantly in Aiken County facility
COLUMBIA, S.C. – The Carlstar Group LLC, a global manufacturer of specialty wheels and tires, is investing in its existing facility to expand process and production capacity, which will accommodate the company’s continued growth. Carlstar is investing $6.9 million in the project and plans to create 43 new jobs.

Electrolux expanding its Anderson County operations
COLUMBIA, S.C. - Governor Henry McMaster and the S.C. Department of Commerce today announced that Electrolux, a leading home and appliance manufacturer, is expanding its existing manufacturing facility in Anderson County with a capital investment of more than $200 million.
Booz Allen Hamilton expanding its Berkeley County operations
COLUMBIA, S.C. – Booz Allen Hamilton, a management consulting and technology firm based in the United States, is expanding its Berkeley County operations with the opening of a new Digital Hub. This latest expansion is projected to bring at least $10 million of new capital investment and lead to the creation of more than 90 new jobs. Booz Allen Hamilton currently employs more than 550 associates in the Greater Charleston area.
