Thrace-LINQ manufactures nonwoven fabrics used in a variety of textile applications, including geosynthetics, automotive, construction and floor covering. With its North American headquarters, manufacturing and distribution center in Summerville, S.C., Thrace-LINQ is a member of The Thrace Group of Athens, Greece.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Sportsman Boats Manufacturing, a provider of premium boats, is expanding its existing Dorchester County operations. To grow its facility, the company is investing $3.5 million and creating 100 new jobs.
Sportsman’s product offerings currently include 21 models of center consoles and bay boats. Ranging in size from 17 - 31 feet, the boats are designed for saltwater enthusiasts.
Trane expanding existing Richland County operations
COLUMBIA, S.C. – Trane, a leading global provider of indoor comfort systems and services and a brand of Ingersoll Rand, is expanding its existing Richland County operations. The business is projected to invest $96 million and create 700 new jobs to increase its overall flexibility in line with business growth.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – IFA, a direct supplier of propshafts for passenger cars and light commercial vehicles, is constructing a new manufacturing and distribution facility in Berkeley County. The development represents $69 million of capital investment and is projected to create more than 120 new jobs in the coming years.
