COLUMBIA, S.C. – Charleston Coffee Roasters, a craft coffee roasting company, today announced plans to expand operations in Charleston County. The $2.2 million investment will create 28 new jobs.

Founded in 2005, Charleston Coffee Roasters sources premium coffees from around the world, slow-roasts each batch to perfection and delivers a uniquely rich “Charleston” coffee experience in every cup.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Intertape Polymer Group Inc. (IPG), a packaging and protective solutions company that supplies to resellers and a diverse group of commercial end users, today announced plans to expand operations in Richland County. The investment of more than $20 million is expected to create approximately 135 new jobs over the next five years.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Century Aluminum, one of the nation’s largest primary aluminum producers, today announced plans to expand operations in Berkeley County. The more than $60 million investment will create 100 new jobs.

Founded in 1995, Century Aluminum produces standard-grade, high-purity and value-added primary aluminum products, with operations in the United States and Iceland.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – The state of South Carolina today announced that longtime Florence County employer QVC®, a world leader in video retail across broadcast, streaming, mobile and social platforms, is expanding the company’s fulfillment center in Florence County. The approximately $27.5 million investment is expected to create approximately 360 new jobs.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Siemens, a leading global technology company that specializes in industrial modernization, infrastructure and mobility, today announced the completion of a 52,000-square-foot facility expansion in Spartanburg County. The $36 million investment has helped support the creation of more than 180 new jobs.  

COLUMBIA, S.C. – BASF Corporation, a leading supplier of environmental and process catalysts, today announced plans to expand operations in Oconee County. The expansion will create 50 new jobs.

COLUMBIA, S.C. -- Volvo Cars today announced that it is investing an additional $520 million in its Berkeley County operations and creating 1,910 new jobs. This new commitment adds to the company's initial 2015 announcement and brings the collective total to more than $1 billion in investment and 3,900 jobs, respectively.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Canfor Southern Pine, a leading integrated forest products company, today announced it will upgrade its existing Camden, S.C. sawmill in Kershaw County. The company is projected to invest $40 million in the project.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Salt Marsh Brewing, a local, craft brewery, is expanding operations in Beaufort County. The $4.5 million investment is projected to create approximately 43 new jobs. 

COLUMBIA, S.C. – KP Components Inc., a Denmark-based supplier that specializes in fully-automated machining of complex parts for a variety of industries, today announced plans to expand its Pickens County operations. The more than $16 million investment is expected to generate 47 new jobs.
