COLUMBIA, S.C. – Wild West of Myrtle Beach, Inc. (Wild West), a boots and apparel retailer, today announced plans to expand operations in Horry County. The more than $2.5 million investment will create 40 new jobs over the next five years.

Founded in 1996, Wild West is a family-owned and -operated company that retails and distributes men’s, women’s and children’s boots and accessories.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Nephron Pharmaceuticals Corporation (Nephron) today announced the opening of Nephron Nitrile, a plant that will produce American-made, medical-grade nitrile gloves.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – STAR EV, a specialized electric vehicle manufacturer, today announced plans to expand operations in Greenville County. The more than $8.7 million investment will create 50 new jobs.

Founded in 2003, STAR EV manufactures golf carts, off-road carts and other recreational vehicles and distributes from more than 200 locations worldwide. The company also offers a line of accessories such as flip sets, tires, brush guards and stereos.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Nestlé USA, a leading food and beverage company, today unveiled plans to expand operations in Cherokee County. The $100 million investment will create approximately 160 new jobs.

A division of Nestlé S.A., headquartered in Vevey, Switzerland, Nestlé USA’s portfolio includes brands such as STOUFFER’S, COFFEE MATE, DIGIORNO and NESTLÉ TOLL HOUSE.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Queen Wood Products, a subsidiary of Queen Horse Bedding, today announced plans to expand operations in Allendale County. The more than $6 million investment will create 19 new jobs.

Founded in 1998, Queen Wood Products is a family-owned and -operated business that specializes in providing wood shavings for barn stalls.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Denkai America, Inc., a subsidiary of Nippon Denkai, Ltd., today announced plans to expand operations in Kershaw County. The $14 million investment will create 10 new jobs.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Generac Power Systems, Inc. (Generac), a leading global power and energy technology company serving the residential, commercial and industrial markets, today announced plans to expand operations in Edgefield County and create 300 new jobs.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Performance Foodservice, a division of Performance Food Group and one of the largest foodservice distributors in the nation, today announced plans to expand operations in Florence County. The more than $11 million investment will create 150 new jobs.

With over 60 locations nationwide, Performance Foodservice delivers more than 200,000 food and food-related products to 125,000 customer locations.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Standard Textile Co., Inc. (Standard Textile), a leading global provider of end-to-end solutions for the institutional textile and apparel markets, today announced plans to expand operations in Union County. The more than $15 million investment will create 45 new jobs.

Cummins Turbo Technologies, a business segment of global power leader Cummins Inc., today announced plans to expand turbocharger manufacturing operations in Charleston County. The more than $10.7 million investment will create 252 new jobs.
