Arthrex expanding operations in Anderson County
Arthrex, an orthopedic technology innovator, today announced plans to expand operations in Anderson County. The more than $100 million investment will create 500 new jobs.
Founded in 1981, Arthrex is a global leader in orthopedic surgical device design, research, manufacturing and medical education. The company develops and releases more than 1,000 innovative products and surgical procedures each year to advance minimally invasive orthopedics worldwide.

State of South Carolina announces 2020 industry recruitment results
The South Carolina Department of Commerce today released its 2020 industry recruitment results. In total, the state won 126 economic development projects, accounting for $4 billion in capital investment and 11,147 new jobs.

"To increase our recruitment to $4 billion in capital investment - particularly during an unprecedented year - takes a remarkable amount of collaboration and unwavering commitment from many partners across this state."
