SCBIO will host a half-day program March 14, 2018 -- South Carolina Life Sciences Boot Camp: Essentials of a Growing Industry – to inform and update businesses and professionals from across the state on opportunities, trends and issues facing South Carolina’s fast-growing industry segment.
To be held at the University of South Carolina’s Arnold School of Public Health in Columbia, the program will run from 8:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. and will feature a light breakfast followed by presentations from over half a dozen noted life sciences industry leaders.
S.C. Commerce is collaborating with the S.C. Automotive Council to host an Automotive B2B Supplier Matchmaker event on February 28. Taking place in conjunction with the S.C. Automotive Summit, the fourth annual event provides an opportunity for suppliers to connect with original equipment manufacturers and tier one suppliers statewide.

Join Horne LLP for a Subcontractor Outreach event associated with housing rehabilitation for homes damaged during Hurricane Matthew in October 2016. Horne will be looking for subcontractors to help rehabilitate 1,350 homes in 24 South Carolina counties, with 800-1000 of those homes being in Marion and Horry Counties, South Carolina. The overall contract is for $52 million in construction work. Horne is very intersted in utilizing South Carolina subcontractors and suppliers.
