Meyn America, LLC (Meyn America), a leading poultry processing solutions company, today announced plans to establish its first South Carolina operations with a distribution facility in Oconee County. The company’s $10.8 million investment will create 25 new jobs.

Meyn America, a subsidiary of Meyn Food Processing Technology B.V., is globally headquartered in the Netherlands. The company partners with renowned poultry processing companies in over 100 countries, providing poultry equipment and systems.

FN America, LLC (FN America) is the United States subsidiary of FN Herstal, S.A., a global firearms manufacturer, that today announced plans to expand its South Carolina footprint with a new production facility in Pickens County which will be its second in the state. The company’s $33 million investment will create approximately 176 new jobs.

SEM Wafertech Inc. (SEM Wafertech) and Solar4America Technology, Inc. (Solar4America), both 100% owned by SPI Energy Co., Ltd. (NASDAQ: SPI), a global renewable energy company, today announced plans to establish their first South Carolina operations in Sumter County. The $65.9 million investment will create 300 new jobs.

Blanchard Machinery Company (Blanchard), a leading construction equipment supplier, today announced plans to expand its South Carolina footprint with new operations in Calhoun County. The company’s $46 million investment will create 30 new jobs. Approximately 150 existing jobs will be transferred from its Lexington County operations to the new facility.

Normont Motion Technology, Inc. (Normont), a leading industrial engineering company, today announced plans to relocate its corporate headquarters to Marion County. The company’s $1.19 million investment will create 27 new jobs.

TIME Bicycles (TIME), a leading carbon fiber bicycle manufacturer, today announced plans to establish its first South Carolina operations in Spartanburg County to build the nation’s largest carbon fiber bicycle factory. The company’s $6.5 million investment will create 105 new jobs.

Albemarle Corporation (Albemarle), a global leader in transforming essential resources such as lithium and bromine into critical ingredients for mobility, energy, connectivity and health, today announced plans to establish South Carolina operations in Chester County. The company will invest at least $1.3 billion and create more than 300 new jobs to construct a new “Mega-Flex” lithium hydroxide processing facility.

Cirba Solutions, a comprehensive battery management and materials company, today announced plans to build its newest state-of-the-art, flagship operations in Richland County. This integrated lithium-ion battery materials campus will be an initial investment of over $300 million and will create more than 300 new jobs.

ZEB Metals, as part of a newly established joint venture with Glencore, today announced plans to establish its first South Carolina operations in Berkeley County. The company’s new operations will create 28 new jobs.

Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits of South Carolina (Southern Glazer’s), a leading wine and spirits distribution company, today announced plans to relocate operations to Lexington County. The company is investing $80 million to build a new, state-of-the-art distribution facility.
