Sweet Grass Vodka, a family-owned spirits and distilling company, today announced plans to establish operations in Charleston County. The company’s $1.7 million investment will create 47 new jobs.

Founded in 2020, Sweet Grass Vodka crafts innovative and high-quality vodka and spirits from South Carolina-grown potatoes. The company is committed to locally sourced ingredients and is known worldwide for its award-winning vodka.

Norman USA, a global leader in window furnishings, today announced plans to establish operations in Beaufort County. The company’s $16 million investment will create 67 new jobs over the next five years.

Europastry, a global leader in baked goods, today announced plans to establish operations in Laurens County. The company’s $23 million investment will create 155 new jobs.

Headquartered in Spain, Europastry specializes in high-quality bakery products, delivering pastries and baked goods to wholesalers around the globe. The company serves more than 80 countries worldwide.

Located in Hunter Industrial Park in Laurens, Europastry’s facility will produce an assortment of brioche bread products.

VPET USA, LLC, a leading manufacturer of wide-mouth polyethylene terephthalate (PET) bottles and containers, today announced plans to establish operations in Spartanburg County. The company’s $10.8 million investment will create 40 new jobs.

Pet Supplies Plus, a leading, full-service pet retail company, today announced plans to establish a new distribution center in Orangeburg County. The company’s $53 million investment will create 275 new jobs.

Impact Housing Group, a premier manufacturer of modular design housing, today announced plans to establish operations in Oconee County. The company's $30 million investment will create 215 new jobs over the next five years.

Aerofoam USA, a brand of the family-owned, international firm Hira Industries, today announced plans to establish its United States headquarters and operations in Abbeville County. The company’s $11.5 million investment will create 50 new jobs.

Kuntai (North Charleston) Limited Corporation (Kuntai), an automotive parts manufacturer, today announced plans to establish operations in Orangeburg County. The company’s $1.5 million investment will create 41 new jobs.

Kuntai specializes in car floor mats and is a supplier for high-end original equipment manufacturers. 

SHL Medical, a world-leading provider of drug delivery solutions, today announced plans to establish operations in Charleston County. The company’s initial $90 million investment will create an estimated 165 new jobs.

Carolina Precision Foods, LLC – a joint venture of Carolina Fresh Foods and owners of Lake Foods – today announced plans to establish operations in Florence County. The company’s $10 million investment will create 402 new jobs.

Carolina Precision Foods, LLC is a poultry further processing company that specializes in deboning, portioning, marination, custom further processing and mechanically separating food.
