The company is investing $17.6 million in its new operations, creating 38 new jobs from beginning of operation.

The company is investing $5.5 million in a new Newberry County manufacturing facility, generating 238 new jobs in Whitmire, S.C.

GKN Aerospace opening new Orangeburg County facility to produce Boeing inlet lip skins
COLUMBIA, S.C. – GKN Aerospace announced today that it will open a new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility to produce inlet lip skins for the Boeing 737 MAX and 777X. The company is investing more than $20 million in the new facility, generating more than 75 new jobs in Orangeburg County.
