COLUMBIA, S.C. - ChartSpan Medical Technologies, LLC, a healthcare data company that has developed the world's first automated tool allowing users to upload, store and manage their electronic healthcare records on a smartphone, tablet or computer, will establish its new headquarters in Greenville County. It plans to add 11 new positions immediately, and as many as 30 high-tech positions over the next 18 to 24 months. 

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Worksman Cycles, a manufacturer of heavy-duty bicycles and tricycles as well as food vending trucks and carts, is establishing operations in Horry County. The company is investing $2.5 million in the facility, creating approximately 50 new jobs in Conway, S.C.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Kirchner Konstruktionen GmbH (Kirchner), a German company that specializes in the planning, design, simulation and commissioning of equipment for the automotive sector, is establishing its first U.S. operations in Greenville County under the name Kirchner Design Inc. The company is investing more than $1 million in the project, creating 30 new jobs over the next five years.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Aran Packaging, a leading company in the liquid packaging industry, is establishing its first United States operations in Greenville County. The company is investing $5.2 million in the facility, creating an expected 63 new jobs in Greer, S.C. over the next five years.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Total Quality Logistics (TQL), a third-party logistics provider, is establishing logistics and sales operations in Richland County. The company is investing $565,000 in the facility, creating an expected 100 new jobs over the next five years.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Cypress Creek Renewables, a company that specializes in the ownership and development of long-term solar energy projects, is establishing two new operations in Lexington County. The company is investing $20.4 million in the solar projects.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Mogul, a privately-owned company that focuses on the production of and sale of nonwovens, is establishing its first North American operations – Mogul South Carolina Nonwovens Corporation. The company is investing $17.6 million in its new operations, creating 38 new jobs from beginning of operation.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Gerber Childrenswear LLC, a leading marketer of children’s apparel, is constructing a new distribution center in Berkeley County. The $33 million investment is expected to create 45 new jobs over the next five years.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Moderna Products, a Belgian company that specializes in the creation, production and distribution of well-designed plastics for the pet industry, is establishing its first U.S. manufacturing operations with a new injection molding facility in Cherokee County. The $6.5 million investment is expected to create 35 new jobs over the next five years.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Sea Pro Boats, a renowned brand in the boating industry, is returning to the market with ‘The Next Wave’ – an all new line of bay boats and center console offshore fishing boats. The company is investing $5.5 million in a new Newberry County manufacturing facility, generating 238 new jobs in Whitmire, S.C.
