COLUMBIA, S.C. – The Muffin Mam, Inc., a leading manufacturer of baked goods headquartered in Simpsonville, S.C., is launching new production operations in Laurens County. The company’s $18.8 million investment is projected to create 114 new jobs.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – World Energy, one of America’s largest suppliers of biodiesel, today announced plans to locate its new production facility in Hampton County. The company’s $5.4 million investment is projected to create 30 jobs over the next five years.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Horton Holding, Inc., a premium provider of engine-cooling solutions, today announced plans to locate new operations in Oconee County, creating 125 new jobs.

Horton Holding manufactures and markets fan drives, fans and related components for the on-highway, off-highway and industrial sectors. Serving manufacturers of trucks, buses, off-road equipment and more, the company operates more than 15 facilities worldwide and has a global network of more than 900 distributor locations.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – DHL Supply Chain, a leader in contract logistics and part of Deutsche Post DHL Group, today announced plans to construct a new distribution and warehousing park in Dorchester County that will open in phases, developed by DHL Real Estate Solutions. The company’s $100 million investment is projected to create approximately 450 new jobs.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Maxwood Furniture, Inc., a manufacturer and distributor of bedroom furniture, today announced plans to locate its new distribution center in Marion County. The company’s $1.8 million investment is projected to create 21 new jobs.

Maxwood Furniture is a family-owned and operated wholesale and import business that specializes in the design, production and distribution of solid wood bed and furniture products. Since launching 15 years ago, the company has grown to manufacture four distinct brands and many custom offerings.
