COLUMBIA, S.C. – Prestage Farms of South Carolina, LLC, a division of Prestage Farms, today announced plans to construct a new processing facility in Kershaw County. The $150 million investment will create 292 new jobs.

Founded in 1983, Prestage Farms is a family-owned, family-led producer of quality pork and poultry products. With facilities in seven states and more than 2,700 employees, Prestage Farms has operated in South Carolina since 1994.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Solstice Sleep Products, Inc., a wholesale mattress company, today announced plans to establish operations in Marion County. The investment will create 80 new jobs.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Masonite International Corporation (Masonite) (NYSE: DOOR), a leading global designer, manufacturer, marketer and distributor of interior and exterior doors, today announced plans to establish operations in York County. The new facility will create more than 220 new jobs and service the company’s customers in North America.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Sterlite Technologies Limited (STL), a leading digital network integration company, today announced plans to establish operations in Kershaw County. The $23 million investment will create 120 new jobs over the next few years.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Oshkosh Defense, a subsidiary of Oshkosh Corporation (NYSE: OSK), today announced plans to establish operations in Spartanburg County. The $155 million investment will create more than 1,000 new jobs.

Founded in 1917, Oshkosh Defense is a tactical vehicle manufacturer that specializes in designing and manufacturing a diverse portfolio of heavy, medium, light and highly protected vehicles and technologies for clients around the globe.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Sync.MD, a medical data company, today announced plans to establish operations in Anderson County, creating 10 new jobs.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Gissing North America LLC, a leading manufacturer of acoustic systems for the automotive industry, today announced plans to establish operations in Greenville County. The $18.7 million investment will create 116 new jobs.

Founded in 2016, Gissing North America LLC is an acoustic and sound package solutions provider for the automotive industry. The company designs, develops and manufactures components and solutions to reduce noise, vibration and harshness and improve acoustics for a variety of vehicles.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Governor Henry McMaster and the S.C. Department of Commerce today announced that E. & J. Gallo Winery (Gallo), a global wine and spirits company, will build a new state-of-the-art production facility and distribution center in Chester County to support future business growth and its long-term innovation plans. The $423 million investment will create 496 new jobs over the next eight years.
