COLUMBIA, S.C. – Horton Holding, Inc., a premium provider of engine-cooling solutions, today announced plans to locate new operations in Oconee County, creating 125 new jobs.

Horton Holding manufactures and markets fan drives, fans and related components for the on-highway, off-highway and industrial sectors. Serving manufacturers of trucks, buses, off-road equipment and more, the company operates more than 15 facilities worldwide and has a global network of more than 900 distributor locations.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – DHL Supply Chain, a leader in contract logistics and part of Deutsche Post DHL Group, today announced plans to construct a new distribution and warehousing park in Dorchester County that will open in phases, developed by DHL Real Estate Solutions. The company’s $100 million investment is projected to create approximately 450 new jobs.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Maxwood Furniture, Inc., a manufacturer and distributor of bedroom furniture, today announced plans to locate its new distribution center in Marion County. The company’s $1.8 million investment is projected to create 21 new jobs.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – AKPA Kimya Organic Peroxides and Initiators (AKPA Kimya) today announced plans to locate a new distribution and warehousing facility for organic products in Allendale County. The development is projected to bring $2.6 million in capital investment and create 13 new jobs.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Burnt Church Distillery, a locally-run distillery based out of Bluffton, S.C., is launching new operations in Beaufort County. The company’s $7.7 million investment is projected to create approximately 27 new manufacturing jobs.

Burnt Church Distillery will be a 20,000-square-foot distillery which includes a 7,000-square-foot space for tastings, events, merchandise and displays of historical research. The site will also include a 5,000-square-foot rack house for the storage of aging whiskey barrels.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Eclipse Automation, a provider of automated systems for a variety of industries, today announced plans to locate new operations in York County. The company’s $4.6 million investment is projected to create 90 new jobs over the next five years.
