DHI Corp (Design House), a home goods provider, today announced plans to establish operations in Berkeley County. The $627,000 investment will create 40 new jobs.

Founded in 1872, Design House offers a variety of home good products for any room. The company’s products include home furniture, lighting, ceiling fans, bath furniture and accessories, kitchen cabinets and much more.

S.W.O.R.D. International Inc. (S.W.O.R.D.), a manufacturer of unique, purpose-built small arms and defense equipment, is relocating and establishing its manufacturing operations in Greenville County. The $9.5 million investment will create 55 new jobs.

 Barzan Aeronautical, LLC, an aerial intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) systems company, today announced plans to establish operations in Charleston County. The company’s $14.7 million investment will create 34 new jobs.

Elbit Systems of America, LLC, a subsidiary of Elbit Systems Ltd., today announced plans to establish operations in Charleston County. The project will create approximately 300 new jobs.

Founded in 1983, Elbit Systems of America, LLC is a leading provider of high-performance products and system solutions focusing on the defense, homeland security, commercial aviation and medical instrumentation sectors.

APEX Mattress Manufacturing, Inc., a mattress manufacturing company, today announced plans to establish operations in Colleton County. The more than $1.9 million investment will create 50 new jobs.

Established in 2021, APEX Mattress Manufacturing, Inc. produces mattresses for retail stores and e-commerce businesses.

Located at 304 Thunderbolt Drive in Walterboro, APEX Mattress Manufacturing, Inc.’s new facility is the company’s first manufacturing operation. 

Tiger Companies, a valued-added national distributor serving the construction, surveying, home, office and medical products markets, today announced plans to establish operations in Union County. The $10.8 million investment will create 61 new jobs.

Founded in 1994 as Tiger Supplies, Inc. and recently rebranded as Tiger Companies, the privately held, New Jersey-based company provides clients a multidimensional portfolio of product brands across leading markets.

Citadel Brands LLC, a clothing and apparel company, today announced plans to establish operations in Williamsburg County. The more than $7.5 million investment will create 116 new jobs.

Walmart has announced plans to build a new, high-tech distribution center for fresh and frozen groceries in Spartanburg County, South Carolina. The $450 million investment will create more than 400 new supply chain jobs. 

COLUMBIA, S.C. – South Carolina Oak to Barrel, LLC, a barrel manufacturer, today announced plans to establish operations in Bamberg County. The more than $6.8 million investment will create 122 new jobs.

Located at 3914 Main Highway in Bamberg, the company will manufacture barrels for high-quality whiskey and wine industries.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Impresa Building Systems of Greenwood SC, LLC, an affiliate company of Impresa Modular, today announced plans to establish modular factory construction operations in Greenwood County. The more than $9 million investment will create 180 new jobs.

Impresa Modular is a residential home design, sales and development company that specializes in providing a consumer-friendly way to build and purchase homes around the United States.
