COLUMBIA, S.C. – ITT Corporation (NYSE: ITT) announced today that it is expanding its manufacturing operations in Oconee County by investing approximately $1 million to build a new test facility. The investment is part of a total of $2.5 million that the company expects to invest in the facility over the next five years.
Techtronic Industries expanding operations in Anderson County

The $85 million investment will create at least 216 new jobs in Anderson, S.C. over the next five years.
SOPAKCO expanding Marion County operations
COLUMBIA, S.C. – SOPAKCO, a world-leader in the design, processing and packaging of processed foods, is expanding its Marion County operations. The company is investing $4.5 million to install a new fitment pouch line at its headquarters in Mullins, S.C. The investment is expected to create 56 new jobs.
SYNNEX Corporation to expand U.S. distribution headquarters in Greenville County
COLUMBIA, S.C. – SYNNEX Corporation (NYSE: SNX), a leading distributor of IT products and services with its U.S. distribution headquarters in Greenville County, announced today that the company will expand its existing facility with a 40,000-square-foot addition to accommodate its growing workforce. The $6.5 million expansion will allow the company to hire 150 additional full-time associates to address the fast-paced growth of the company.
ITECH South expanding operations in Oconee County
COLUMBIA, S.C. – ITECH South, LLC, the Palmetto State operations of Injection Technology Corporation (ITECH), is expanding its existing plant in Oconee County. The $6.03 million investment is expected to create 34 new jobs at the company’s Westminster, S.C. facility over the next five years.
O’Neal, Inc. expanding Greenville County operations
COLUMBIA, S.C. – O’Neal, Inc., an integrated engineering and construction company, is expanding its existing Greenville County headquarters. The company’s $5 million investment is expected to generate 60 new jobs in Greenville, S.C.
WABCO expanding Lowcountry operations
COLUMBIA, S.C. –WABCO (NYSE: WBC), a leading innovator and global supplier of technologies that improve the safety and efficiency of commercial vehicles, is expanding its compression and braking business operations in the Lowcountry. WABCO is investing $17 million to establish a new manufacturing site in North Charleston, S.C. The investment is expected to create more than 50 new jobs and help sustain approximately 175 existing jobs.
Hickory Springs Bottling, Inc. expanding Calhoun County operations
COLUMBIA, S.C. – Silver Springs Bottled Water Company, a bottled water manufacturing firm, is acquiring and expanding Hickory Springs Bottling, Inc.’s existing Calhoun County operations. The $16.3 million investment is expected to generate 37 new jobs over the next five years.
Red Bone Alley Foods, LLC expanding Florence County operations
COLUMBIA, S.C. – Red Bone Alley Foods, LLC, a company that provides fresh and innovative South Carolina regional cuisine is expanding its operations in Florence County. The $3.5 million investment will establish sauce, marinade and spice production manufacturing operations, creating an expected 45 new jobs in Florence, S.C.
Amazon expanding Lexington County operations
COLUMBIA, S.C. – Amazon, a global leader in e-commerce, today announced plans to hire 500 additional full-time employees at the company’s Lexington County fulfillment center.
Since opening in 2012, the Amazon fulfillment center in West Columbia, S.C. has brought more than 1,500 full-time jobs to Lexington County. Amazon is adding the new positions to meet growing customer demand. Employees will pick, pack and ship customer orders.
