COLUMBIA, S.C. – JTEKT Automotive South Carolina Inc., a manufacturer of automotive components today announced plans to expand its operations in Greenville County. The $102 million investment is expected to generate at least 80 new jobs over the next two years.
Ionic Technologies expands in Greenville County
COLUMBIA, S.C. – Ionic Technologies Inc., a provider of high-quality heat treating and coating services to manufacturers to improve wear resistance on metal surfaces, will double the size of its existing operations in Greenville County. The $10 million investment is expected to generate at least 13 new jobs as the new facility becomes fully operational.
INVISTA expanding its Kershaw County production plant
COLUMBIA, S.C. – INVISTA will grow its Performance Surfaces & Materials business at its Camden production facility to better serve its carpet mill customer base located throughout the U.S., specifically in the southeast region. The $20 million investment is expected to create about 50 new jobs in Camden by the first part of 2014.
Honda marks 2.5 millionth ATV built in South Carolina, commits to plant expansion
COLUMBIA, S.C. – Honda of South Carolina Mfg. Inc. (HSC) today marked its 2.5 millionth all-terrain vehicle (ATV) production milestone. The company also announced that it will add production of Honda’s next generation of side-by-side (multi-utility vehicle) products in mid-2013 at its Florence County plant. The $27 million investment is expected to generate more than 65 new jobs.
Henry Molded Products Inc. expanding in Anderson County
COLUMBIA, S.C. – Henry Molded Products Inc., a manufacturer of sustainable molded fiber protective packaging products, today announced that it will expand its South Carolina operations in Anderson County. The more than $5 million investment is expected to generate 18 new jobs over the next five years.
Haddon House Food Products Inc. expanding facility in Chester County
COLUMBIA, S.C. – Haddon House Food Products Inc., an exporter, importer and distributor of food products, today announced plans to increase operations at its Chester County facility. The $3.1 million investment is expected to generate 100 new jobs.
GSE Lining Technology expands in Williamsburg County
COLUMBIA, S.C. – GSE Lining Technology, a manufacturer of geosynthetic lining products, is expanding its current operations in Williamsburg County. The $5 million investment is expected to generate 24 new jobs.

Genetec Global Technologies expanding operations in Greenville County
COLUMBIA, S.C. – Genetec Global Technologies Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Genetec Technology Berhad of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, located in Fountain Inn, today announced plans to further expand its presence in Greenville County by opening a new operation, Genetec Technology Automation, in Simpsonville. The $1.2 million investment is expected to generate 160 new jobs.
Federal-Mogul Friction Products expanding in Orangeburg County
COLUMBIA, S.C. – Federal-Mogul Friction Products today announced the expansion of its Orangeburg County operations. The company expects to invest at least $7 million and generate 40 new jobs at the plant.
Drive Automotive Industries of America expanding facility in Greenville County
COLUMBIA, S.C. – The South Carolina Department of Commerce today announced that Drive Automotive Industries of America will expand its existing facility in Greenville County. The $50 million investment is expected to generate 60 new jobs.
