Southeast Frozen Foods expanding operations in Calhoun County

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Southeast Frozen Foods, a food products distributor and cold storage service provider, today announced that it will expand its existing operations in Calhoun County - the company’s second expansion in the last five years. The $4.5 million investment is expected to generate 10 additional new jobs.

Shimano expanding operations in Charleston County

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Shimano American Corporation, a maker of fishing tackle and bicycle components, today announced the expansion of its distribution center in Charleston County. The expansion will double the company’s original investment and increase employment at the facility by 50 percent. The company broke ground on the new construction today.

SEW-Eurodrive Inc. expanding in Spartanburg County

COLUMBIA, S.C. – SEW-Eurodrive Inc., a maker of  industrial gear motors and electronics, today announced that the company will expand its current operations in Spartanburg County. The $20 million investment is expected to generate 40 new jobs.

Servosity expanding operations in Greenville County

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Greenville-based Servosity Inc., a developer and provider of data backup and disaster recovery solutions to managed service providers and IT resellers, today announced plans to expand its operations in Greenville County. The company expects to generate 30 new jobs over the next 12 to 18 months.

According to Damien Stevens, CEO of Servosity, the company will expand its support teams and infrastructure to meet the increasing needs of a growing customer base.

Red Ventures expanding its Lancaster County campus with purchase of 16 acres

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Red Ventures, a technology company, announced today that it has acquired 16 acres of land next to its Indian Land, S.C. headquarters in Lancaster County. The expansion is expected to generate 1,000 new jobs over the next five years.

Porter’s Fabrications increasing operations at Sumter plant

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Porter’s Fabrications, a maker of metal components, today announced plans to expand its existing plant in Sumter County. The $2.5 million investment is expected to generate 60 new jobs.

Polydeck Screen Corporation expanding operations in Spartanburg County

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Polydeck Screen Corporation, a producer of systems for materials screening operations in the aggregate, coal and mining industries, today announced that the company will expand its current operations in Spartanburg County. The $7 million investment is expected to generate 32 new jobs.

Pactiv Corporation Announces Expansion in Aiken County

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Pactiv LLC, a maker of foodservice and food packaging, today announced plans to expand its existing operations in Aiken County. The $5.5 million investment is expected to generate 25 new jobs over the next three years.

Pactiv LLC will add a new production line to the company’s current manufacturing facility in Beech Island. The company will also expand its warehouse facility to consolidate its regional operations. Construction on the expansion is scheduled to begin in February.
