United Tool and Mold, Inc. expanding Pickens County operations
COLUMBIA, S.C. – United Tool and Mold, Inc., a leading provider of new tooling projects, engineering changes and repair services for the plastics industry, is expanding its Pickens County manufacturing operations. The $11.1 million investment is projected to create 17 additional jobs.
The company has three locations across the Southeast, including operations in Duncan, S.C. and Easley, S.C. The Easley facility features the company’s main office and is a comprehensive provider of mold-servicing needs.
Holy City Brewing expanding Charleston County operations
COLUMBIA, S.C. – Holy City Brewing, a craft brewery based out of Charleston, S.C., is expanding its existing operations. The company is expected to create 15 new jobs.
Established in 2011, Holy City Brewing is a craft brewery that creates handcrafted ales and lagers with a 15-barrel (bbl) system. Featuring a full taproom, kitchen and state-of-the-art brewing operation, Holy City has become a staple in the South Carolina craft brewing industry.
SAIC expanding its operations in Berkeley County
COLUMBIA, S.C. – Science Applications International Corporation (NYSE: SAIC) is expanding its existing operations in Berkeley County. Through this continued growth, the company expects to create 200 new jobs over the next five years.
KapStone Paper and Packaging Corporation investing in Cherokee County facility
COLUMBIA, S.C. – KapStone Paper and Packaging Corporation, a leading North American producer of unbleached kraft paper and packaging products, is investing $6 million in new equipment at its Cherokee County facility.
Meritor expanding operations in York County
COLUMBIA, S.C. – Meritor, a global supplier of drivetrain, mobility, braking and aftermarket solutions for commercial vehicle markets, is expanding its existing operations in York County. The $7.8 million investment is projected to create 26 new jobs.
Located at 801 Railroad Avenue in York, S.C., Meritor will be launching a new air disc brake caliper assembly line and a housing assembly line to support its growing air disc brake business. Hiring for the new positions is projected to begin in late summer 2018.
Zeus Industrial Products, Inc. expanding its Aiken County operations
COLUMBIA, S.C. – Zeus Industrial Products (Zeus), a leading polymer extrusion manufacturer and material science innovator, is expanding its existing operations in Aiken County. The company’s $15.7 million investment in Aiken County complements a $15.9 million expansion in Orangeburg County and $76 million expansion in Calhoun County, both of which were announced over the last several weeks. With this project, Zeus is expected to create an additional 51 new jobs in Aiken, S.C.
Van Dyke’s Restorers, Inc. expanding Greenwood County operations
COLUMBIA, S.C. – Van Dyke’s Restorers, Inc., a provider of products for home renovation projects, is expanding operations in Greenwood County to accommodate its continued growth. The company is projected to create 31 new jobs over the next five years.
Frontier Logistics expanding North Charleston operations
COLUMBIA, S.C. – Frontier Logistics, a provider of supply chain management services, is expanding its existing operations in Charleston County with the recent purchase of 26 acres at the former Navy base in North Charleston, S.C. The company’s $35.5 million investment is expected to create an additional 34 jobs.
Zeus Industrial Products, Inc. expanding its Orangeburg County operations
COLUMBIA, S.C. – Zeus Industrial Products (Zeus), Inc., a leading polymer extrusion manufacturer and material science innovator, is expanding its existing operations in Orangeburg County. The company’s $15.9 million investment in Orangeburg complements a $76 million Calhoun County expansion, which was announced last week. With this project, Zeus is expected to create an additional 20 new jobs in Orangeburg.
