COLUMBIA, S.C. – Samaritan Biologics, a medical technology company, today announced it is expanding its operations in Greenville County. The company’s $5 million investment will create 85 new jobs.

Founded in 2019, Samaritan Biologics develops, manufactures and distributes human amniotic allograft products for wound care and surgical applications. The company currently operates a research and education facility at the Clemson University Biomedical Engineering Innovation Campus (CUBEInC) in Greenville.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Portland Bolt & Manufacturing Company (Portland Bolt), a fastener and bolt manufacturer, today announced it is expanding its operations in Edgefield County. The company’s $4.3 million investment will create 21 new jobs.

Founded in Oregon in 1912, Portland Bolt manufactures nonstandard anchor bolts and construction fasteners. The company acquired its North Augusta manufacturing facility from Southern Anchor Bolt in June 2024, allowing it to effectively reach East Coast customers.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – OhmIQ, Inc. (OhmIQ), a world leader in ohmic conduction technology development and licensing, today announced the expansion of its Charleston County operations. The company’s $1.1 million investment will create 21 new jobs.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Le Creuset, a global cookware, bakeware and kitchen tools brand, today announced it is expanding its operations in Hampton County. The company’s $30 million investment will create 30 new jobs.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Koops Automation Systems (Koops), a provider of custom automation equipment, today announced it is expanding its operations in Greenville County. The company’s $10.2 million investment will create 26 new jobs.

Headquartered in Michigan, Koops designs, builds, and integrates innovative special machines and automated equipment. The company offers solutions for manufacturers in various industries including automotive, life sciences and construction.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – AAC East, LLC (AAC East), a producer of autoclaved aerated concrete (AAC), today announced it is expanding its Marlboro County operations. The company’s $6 million investment will create 25 new jobs.

AAC East produces and distributes AAC, a sustainable, lightweight and energy-efficient alternative to concrete, used in commercial and residential floor and wall systems. The company’s Bennettsville facility provides AAC blocks and panels to customers across the eastern U.S. 

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Bondex, a leader in technical nonwoven manufacturing, today announced it is expanding its Edgefield County operations. The company’s $18.8 million investment will create 13 new jobs. 

Part of Andrew Industries Limited, Bondex is an innovative nonwovens and specialty roll goods manufacturer founded in 1997. The company’s products serve growing demand across various markets, including filtration, automotive, laundry felt and more, for customers globally.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Casting Cleaning Resources (CCR), a provider of casting cleaning services, today announced it is expanding its Greenwood County operations. The company’s $5 million investment will create 42 new jobs while retaining existing jobs. 

Founded in Indiana in 1992, CCR provides expert casting cleaning services for industrial applications. The company’s Greenwood County operation, established in 2019, specializes in casting finishing services and other post-mold services for foundries.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – BENTELER Automotive Corporation (BENTELER), a leading global automotive supplier, today announced it is expanding its Spartanburg County operations. The $47.9 million investment will improve the company’s manufacturing and assembly facility.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Maxwood Furniture, a manufacturer and distributer of solid wood furniture, today announced it is expanding its operations in Marion County. The company’s $6 million investment will create 43 new jobs.

Headquartered in Charleston County, Maxwood Furniture is a family-owned and -operated company that designs, manufactures and distributes solid wood furniture products. The company offers distinct product lines and custom furniture design for customers globally.
