Grant funding application process

Thank you for your interest in supporting SC Nexus for Advanced Resilient Energy (SC NEXUS)!

As a recipient of the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Economic Development Administration’s (EDA) Regional Technology and Innovation Hub Program (Tech Hubs) designation, SC NEXUS is now eligible to apply for Phase 2 federal funding, through which the EDA will award implementation grants between $40-$75 million each to at least five Tech Hubs who received Tech Hubs designation in Phase 1.

To meet the Feb. 29, 2024, Phase 2 application deadline, work is underway to identify projects with the greatest viability and impact for inclusion in the SC NEXUS application, as well as existing assets the SC NEXUS application can highlight.

The application window to submit project concepts for consideration to SC NEXUS IS NOW CLOSED. The applications were accepted through 11:59 p.m. EST, Dec. 4, 2023.

However, SC NEXUS is still receiving submissions of assets that could support the tech hub.
