It’s widely accepted that to be successful in business, one must go where the customers are and build relationships with them. Recognizing this, Team South Carolina is constantly traveling the globe in the effort to strengthen existing partnerships and cultivate new ones.
In December, the S.C. Department of Commerce will be leading a multi-sector trade mission to the United Kingdom, helping South Carolina companies expand their international reach and develop relationships with potential customers in the U.K. As the Palmetto State’s fourth largest trading partner, the U.K. is a critical market for South Carolina businesses. Last year alone, more than $2.8 billion in goods was exported from our state to the U.K.
