Cheers to E. & J. Gallo Winery (Gallo) on the opening of its distribution operation at the company’s new facility in Chester County. Gallo CEO Ernest Gallo, along with Governor Henry McMaster, S.C. Commerce team members, local economic development leaders and community members, celebrated the milestone with a ribbon cutting on Oct. 7.
The $423 million investment — which is creating nearly 500 jobs — supports Gallo’s future business growth and long-term innovation plans. The state-of-the-art facility serves as a distribution center for the company’s growing portfolio of wine and spirit brands and will ultimately house production operations.
