$4.65 million investment expected to create approximately 11 jobs
COLUMBIA, S.C. - Walker Emulsions [USA Inc.], a producer of asphalt emulsions and industrial emulsions for the building products industries based in Ontario, Canada, is opening a facility in Orangeburg County. The $4.65 million investment is expected to create approximately 11 jobs.
Walker Emulsions is a subsidiary of the Walker Industries Group, a family-owned, private business and parent company to Walker Emulsions Inc., Walker Aggregate Inc. and Walker Environmental Group Inc. Walker Emulsions will be acquiring the 53,000 square-foot Engineered Polymer Solutions [Valspar] Building in Orangeburg County. The company expects to begin operations late this summer.
