Walker Emulsions [USA Inc.] opening facility in Orangeburg County

$4.65 million investment expected to create approximately 11 jobs

COLUMBIA, S.C. - Walker Emulsions [USA Inc.], a producer of asphalt emulsions and industrial emulsions for the building products industries based in Ontario, Canada, is opening a facility in Orangeburg County. The $4.65 million investment is expected to create approximately 11 jobs. 

Walker Emulsions is a subsidiary of the Walker Industries Group, a family-owned, private business and parent company to Walker Emulsions Inc., Walker Aggregate Inc. and Walker Environmental Group Inc. Walker Emulsions prides itself on the company's EARTH 1st program which reminds employees, customers and suppliers to operate efficiently, acknowledge that they are part of the environment, reduce impacts, take time to plan for high environmental performance. 

Walker Emulsions will be acquiring the 53,000 square-foot Engineered Polymer Solutions [Valspar] Building in Orangeburg County. The company expects to begin operations late this summer.
