Reinicke Athens, Inc. establishing operations in Laurens County

$4.5 million investment expected to create new jobs

COLUMBIA, S.C.Reinicke Athens, Inc. (RAI), a Georgia-based leading industrial contractor, is investing $4.5 million to establish manufacturing operations in Laurens County. The investment is expected to create 30 new jobs over the next three to five years.

Founded in 1996 in Athens, Ga., RAI specializes in fast-track installations, relocation of industrial manufacturing equipment and full-service, turnkey construction. With a client list that includes many Fortune 500 companies, Reinicke thrives on competitive bidding as well as negotiations with both small and large projects alike.

Located in the Owings Industrial Park on Old Laurens Road, RAI’s facility will allow the company to strengthen its existing customer base in South Carolina. Additionally, the facility will allow RAI to expand its operations to support new manufacturers who need customized support in the installation and implementation of process equipment.

Construction of the facility is expected to begin in the second quarter of 2015. Therefore, hiring for most of the new positions is anticipated to take place in the fourth quarter of 2015.
