Emerson expanding its ASCO operations in Aiken County

Company investing more than $8 million in regional product line consolidation

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Emerson, which manufactures and markets ASCO fluid automation products for a wide range of process and manufacturing industry applications, is expanding its ASCO operations in Aiken County. The expansion is expected to bring more than $8 million of capital investment and create 86 new jobs.

Located at 1561 Columbia Highway in Aiken, S.C., Emerson’s ASCO business unit will be consolidating its regional cylinder, motion control and accessory product lines to its Aiken facility. ASCO’s fluid and pneumatic technologies, which are part of Emerson Automation Solutions, are critical to the operation of process and manufacturing plants, including those in the automotive, life sciences, packaging, oil and gas and refining industries. ASCO product lines include a full range of solenoid valves, angle body piston valves, valve manifolds, cylinders, filters, regulators and a variety of other solutions.

The Coordinating Council for Economic Development has approved job development credits related to this project.
