Green Tech Solution, Inc launching new Cherokee County operations
COLUMBIA, S.C. – Green Tech Solution, Inc today announced plans to locate new recycling operations in Cherokee County. The company’s $75 million investment is projected to create approximately 200 new jobs.
Green Tech Solution, Inc will be establishing a new recycling operation to collect and process a variety of materials, including plastics, scrap metal, electronics and more. Green Tech Solution, Inc is a subsidiary of Tianjin Sheng Xin Non-Financing Guarantee Co., Ltd., an investment company headquartered in Tianjin, China.
Ecomelida launching its first North American operations in Orangeburg County
COLUMBIA, S.C. – Ecomelida, Inc., a U.S. subsidiary of Zhangzhou Sanlida Environmental Technology Corporation, today announced plans to locate its first North American operations in Orangeburg County. The $52 million investment is projected to create 200 new jobs.
Zhangzhou Sanlida Environmental Technology Corporation is an importer and recycler of waste paper and plastic. Utilizing creative processes to separate pulp, plastic and aluminum from soft drink cartons and other products, the company’s recycled plastics are used in foam, cast plastic parts and more.
ICE Recycling expanding operations in Florence County
COLUMBIA, S.C. – ICE Recycling LLC, a total recycling company serving industrial plants, has expanded its operations in Florence County. The $1.05 million investment is expected to generate 15 new jobs.
LowCountry Biomass LLC expands Jasper County facility
COLUMBIA, S.C. – LowCountry Biomass, a recycler of wood residues, today announced plans to expand its existing wood pellet manufacturing operations in Jasper County. The $16 million investment is expected to generate 26 new jobs.

Grace Plastics locating new operation in Greenville County
COLUMBIA, S.C. – Ohio-based Grace Plastics, a plastics recycler, today announced plans to locate a new facility in Greenville County. The $1.2 million investment is expected to generate 16 new jobs over the next two years.

The South Carolina facility will give us the opportunity to reach new customers in the Southeast as well as grow our overall operations. This is an important step in the life of our company,” said Harold J. Johnson, president of Grace Plastics.
