For over three decades, BMW has given South Carolina plenty to celebrate and Friday, June 21, 2024 — just days before the company’s 32nd anniversary of its initial investment announcement in the state — the German automaker delivered again.

With a focus on FDI and promoting the benefits of doing business in South Carolina, S.C. Commerce representatives led a diverse state delegation at the 2024 SelectUSA Investment Summit June 23-26, 2024, in National Harbor, Maryland.

As part of the multi-day event, INMC Anderson also hosted the inaugural INMC International Start-Up Competition, where technology and biomedical start-ups from 15 cities around the world pitched to a panel of judges for the opportunity to win $10,000 in prize money and marketing assistance.
