COLUMBIA, S.C. – October 10, 2013 – MWV Specialty Chemicals, a division of MeadWestvaco Corporation, will expand its existing operations in Charleston County. The $9.3 million investment in innovation is expected to support the division’s local workforce and growing global business. 

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Marleylilly, an e-commerce business specializing in monogrammed gifts, accessories, and non-monogrammed boutique apparel, is expanding its Upstate operations with new corporate operations in Greenville County. The $10 million investment is expected to create 69 new jobs in Greer, S.C. over the next five years.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – SYNNEX Corporation (NYSE: SNX), a leading distributor of IT products and services with its U.S. distribution headquarters in Greenville County, announced today that the company will expand its existing facility with a 40,000-square-foot addition to accommodate its growing workforce.  The $6.5 million expansion will allow the company to hire 150 additional full-time associates to address the fast-paced growth of the company.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – O’Neal, Inc., an integrated engineering and construction company, is expanding its existing Greenville County headquarters. The company’s $5 million investment is expected to generate 60 new jobs in Greenville, S.C.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Ashley Furniture HomeStore licensee Broad River Furniture, a home furnishings retailer, is establishing a new corporate campus and distribution center in York County. The $12.6 million investment is expected to bring 200 jobs to Fort Mill, S.C.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Moneypenny, a market-leading telephone answering service, is establishing its first U.S. operations in Charleston County. The $760,000 investment is expected to result in approximately 40 new jobs in North Charleston, S.C. by the end of 2016, with long-term plans to employ approximately 400 workers at the facility within the next five years.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – A company that specializes in assisting businesses with the management of healthcare costs is establishing its company headquarters and a processing center in Florence County. Med-Enroll is investing $3.5 million to establish operations in Florence, S.C. The investment is expected to create 153 new jobs.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – A solutions based design and manufacturing company that delivers a diverse range of products is expanding its South Carolina operations with a new facility in Calhoun County. The Fitts Company, Inc. is investing $4.2 million to establish a new office and manufacturing facility in Gaston, S.C. The investment is expected to create 105 new jobs over five years.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – May 25, 2011 – Gov. Nikki Haley, the South Carolina Department of Commerce, the City of Greenville and the Greenville Area Development Corporation today announced that CertusBank N.A., a nationally chartered bank that is a subsidiary of Blue Ridge Holdings Inc., will establish the company’s headquarters in Greenville and create 350 new jobs.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – May 5, 2011 – Gov. Nikki Haley, the South Carolina Department of Commerce and Dorchester County today announced that Southeast Renewable Energy will build its new renewable energy facility in Dorchester County. The $50 million investment is expected to generate 20 new jobs over the next five years.
