COLUMBIA, S.C. – A firm specializing in the design, manufacture and global distribution of an extensive line of automotive lifts is establishing its U.S. manufacturing operations in Clarendon County. Peak Corporation is investing $6.6 million over five years resulting in the creation of an expected 59 new jobs in Manning, S.C.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Schaeffler Group USA Inc., a company that has thrived in South Carolina, continues to expand its operations in York County with an additional $36.5 million investment that will create 105 new jobs. Today’s announcement complements Schaeffler’s prior expansion projects in Spartanburg, Chesterfield and York Counties, all of which were announced in January 2015. 

COLUMBIA, S.C. – JGBR, a manufacturing company headquartered in Rugao, China, has announced the establishment of its South Carolina operations. The company is investing $7.2 million to establish a facility in Colleton County, creating 65 new jobs.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Borgeson Universal Company, Inc., a manufacturer of steering joints, is launching its first South Carolina operations in Greenville County. The new development will bring $4.5 million investment to the Upstate and lead to the creation of 36 new jobs.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Magna International, a leading global automotive supplier, is constructing a new seat manufacturing plant in Spartanburg County. Representing its fourth manufacturing plant in South Carolina, the company is projected to invest $29 million in the facility, creating 480 new jobs over the next five years.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – MM Technics, a newly formed American subsidiary of Muhr Metalltechnik, Gmbh + Co. KG, is constructing a metal stamping facility in Newberry County. The company is expected to invest at least $12.6 million and create 65 jobs over the next five years.

COLUMBIA, S.C. -- Bintelli LLC, an Inc. 5000 company and manufacturer and distributor of mopeds, scooters and electric vehicles for a variety of applications, has expanded its existing operations in Charleston County. The investment is expected to generate 23 new jobs over the next five years, 10 of which have recently been filled.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – January 10, 2013 – Kiswire Inc., a maker of steel cord for the tire industry, will expand its manufacturing operations in Newberry County. The first phase will involve a $15 million investment that is expected to generate 30 new jobs.

COLUMBIA, S.C. — Tower International, a leading integrated global manufacturer of engineered structural metal components and assemblies, is establishing its first South Carolina operations in Greenville County. The company is investing $75 million in the new facility, creating 140 jobs in Fountain Inn, S.C.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Brose North America, Inc., a technological leader in the integration of mechanics, electrics and electronics, is establishing a new facility in Spartanburg County. The new manufacturing operation is expected to bring around $6 million in new capital investment and lead to the creation of at least 60 new jobs.
